Yeah man, pretty sure even the haziest of pheno's only takes about 70 days so i would say 11-12 weeks tops! The indica pheno i probably couldve taken an extra week though so just keep an eye on the trichs. I pulled mine with only about 5% amber, the rest were cloudy
Mate those males look strong, nice even clusters of pods
All i did with mine was just chop the branch that had the most pods on it and put it in a paper bag and let it dry completely crispy, then jarred it and put it in a container in the fridge with some silicon moisture absorbers. My pollen is still viable after 12 months
When you're ready to dust, use a sieve and put some pods in it and sieve it over the top of the bud. Or if you want to be really particular, sieve the pollen onto a plate and use a paint brush to paint the hairs you want seeds on
Also, once you've grown out one of the daughters, if the male was really strong genetic wise, you can pollinate the daughter again with the same pollen and effectively back cross it to the original dad if you store the pollen well!

Nice. I can live with a 11 week plant. Any longer and I'll be pulling my hair out. Haha. Good info though man, thanks a lot.

And for the males, do you recommend i chop them now? I mean most the pods are still shut ( look close to opening) . I dont want to cut them and get useless pollen, or no pollen at that.

Word of warning, make sure you scrub anything that comes into contact with the pollen before you check your girls, pollen sticks to the body and clothing like shit to a blanket lol. Keep it contained by keeping yourself and your clothes clean before entering your flower room i ruined a back cross by doing this and now i have a mixed strain as well as back cross in one lot of seeds so i will have to pop them all and hope i find the back crossed one ha ha ha.

It's always nice to follow eMo around.He speaks the truth .I'm still waiting to find a decent male to get his goodies .I'll let it grow outside,make it safer for my girls..got a few small hiding spots

Thats pretty much what i thought. I wasnt 100% sure though.

Honestly. Im extremely paranoid im going to ruin the whole crop. I am honestly considering just tossing the males, even though theyre almost good to go. I would hate to have a completely seeded batch. And the closer these males get to producing all this pollen, the more paranoid i get. Everyone says it doesnt take much to seed a crop.
Maybe im just bugging out, but i would almosy prefer to wait and try this till i have a room specifically designed for males. Right now im just winging it.

If you're that paranoid mate, chop them and just put the branches in paper bags, you'll still get more than enough pollen to get some beans. Just make sure you label the paper bags with the strain and the noticable traits of the male. Ie short stature, tight nodes etc so if you want to come back to it you know which ones you liked the most or you can just dust with them all and have similar to open pollination! It really is simple to dry it out and just paint it on mate, then you just stick a paper bag on top of the branch for a few hours to stop the pollen floating around. Then mist the whole plant a few hours later

Leave 2-3 branches and plant em outdoors ? It's pretty easy to hide a male...It doesn't need much light,and from personal experience,i've planted a male ( i did not know what it was then ) and it bloomed with very low temperatures,probably few if any sunlight.I didn't waste any time with it and i just pulled it out,but it's really easy to deal with them..Also i would say not to top them,since maturity gets a little delayed.Bend them down,and tie them to another plant is a good plan imo .

I'm just buggin out since I've never done this before. Losing a whole crop to seed would be a nightmare. It's not the actual process of me pollinating that worries me, it's the freak accident pollination that I'm worried about. Simply because the males are close to the flower room. I mean the flower room is in the bathroom and the males are in the conjoining room. I just want the males isolated to themselves. But I think I'm gonna take qroox advice down here ....

Thanks for stopping in man. If my males are that close to popping, I think I'm gonna go ahead and just set them aside. Pretty much what your saying.? Unfortunately I can't put them outside as I live in a town house with no fenced in yard. But I can shove them in the garage for the next week or so. The temps are reasonable right now and I can just use the ceiling light as the light source considering I don't need much of it.

You guys talked me into it though. I'm gonna go with it and hope for the best.

The ladies are still looking good. Haven't really changed anything. Still feeding with Maxibloom at 1tsp per gallon, and Protekt at 1 tsp per gallon. Giving me a ppm of around 1050. PH 6. I'm mixing up a 4 gallon solution between the 6 ladies and they get that every 3rd day.

4. AOS. These branches on this girl are seriously like steel. Ok not steel, but I haven't had such a strong sturdy plant in all my life. It would definitely be a sight to see her outside as a giant bush.

I know it's not much yet, but usually on day 11 of flower the plants hardly have any pistils. So the fact that there are tiny buds already really make me happy. I'm just glad this forum is here to help guide me and every other learning grower.

13. AO #2. This pheno is much larger and much thicker in the branches. It smells pretty good too. This would definitely be a good candidate for mainlining considering it's symmetry.

Well thank you sir. So far so good. Not the most balanced canopy ever, but they have a decent amount of room so they should be fine.
I know they say not to count your chickens before they hatch, but I have high hopes for these girls. Hope you stick around and watch.

i never grew agent orange or jtr but aos i started out with a 10-pack & got 6 females 2 of which turned a lavender color & ended up going into other grows this is a well rounded strain that will hold its own against anything out there it grows,clones & yields good quality smoke ive got friends still growing it as it performs so well gets really sticky too also does well outdoors
