clones from a flowering plant

Hello all newb to the cloning world. Got a few grows under my belt from seed.

a buddy of mine give me a couple branches to me try and clone. And that I did. Only thing the branches were of a flowering plant. Now after about ten days I've got roots showing but 2 out of the 5 have a strange look to them (still healthy just kinda spindely)
anways
what is the reason your not supposed to clone off of flowering plants?
is in still possible to grow healthy plants from a flowering clone?
what is the best way to take care of a clone from a flowering plant

Cloning off a flowering plant is great!
This is what I always do and I get monsters
from those.
The clones from a flowering plant that has an established root system will also be mature, very healthy and more woody then if you took them in veg. I take mine day before harvest with great success every time.
Taking clones from a flowering plant is a big big plus imo.

When a flowering clone is put back into the vegetative state, the first few parts of growth will look strange. It is perfectly normal.

It's called re vegging, type it in the search, loads of info on it pal. I'm gona try this soon as well good luck

Anyone idiot that tells you not to take clones from a flowering plant
is clueless and probably can't grow for s**t.
Take care of the flowering clones the same as you
would take care of clones taken in veg and no I'm
not fucking with your head. Imo and I've done it well
many times taking clones in flower is perfectly fine.

These GSC's clones all came from a flowering plant at the
end of it's cycle.

Placed in rich soil, I don't feed (liquid neuts) to the newly rooted clones
for the first two weeks weeks of veg.
I think this is the general rule of thumb amongst soil growers.

Thanks for the info miloven. Those are some sexy plants btw.
this will be my first soil grow. Last ones were in rock wool. And perlite/ vermiculite. Kinda started backwards ha.
and yeah I've Hurd to wait on feeding till you burn off some them nutes in the soil

It's fine, but it just might take longer for the cutting to make roots (depending also on how woody it is already). However, clones from flowering plants are supposed to get really really bushy as if they were topped, without having to top them. Look up "Monster Cropping".

Sweet iv always wanted a great big bush haha. They've all got roots already ganna put them in some solo cups tomorrow.
