I agree with your friends. LoL. Arizona and Nevada aren't much nicer. My car is legal, DOT, it's quiet, inconspicuous, and I don't speed... And, the flat-lander plates help in my being ignored. ;-)

I really want to avoid Utah. Lets see if all those dandies from the San Fransisco area wanna' blaze!
Not in San Francisco but I'm in San Jose (kinda) anyway... I'm down for a few bowls. Btw the company I work for is always looking for people.... gotta pass that initial piss test (which I think you can)
if you head down this way let me know

Dude, that show scared me sooooo fucking bad.
Hehe, I can see why, crossing the desert and mountains over and over a person could lose connect with humanity. I will say, travel in this area, alone, is probably the most dangerous as far as incidental run ins. Kinda makes the Pacific northwest friendly. (Unless you're a prostitute.)

Even if none of y'all in my range of travel wanna smoke, I'm still looking forward to the trip. Thanks for the travel ideas, I can't afford hitting the long route through Wyoming, etc. At best, I'll be able to dip to San Francisco... I mapped a 55+ route through Nevada, has an in-n-out on the way, I can head north in Nevada, or straight west and then north.

Dip a little further south... there's no desert near buy but we don't need it for bowls

I'm leaving tomorrow morning, around 7:30 A.M. I should be through La Veta by 1:00. Pueblo by 3:00 I'll camp in Colorado Springs tomorrow night. I'll be in Denver by 8:30 AM,* across the Continental Divide (I-70) late AM, Nevada in the afternoon, and California Saturday late afternoon/evening. I'm hoping that I can grab the attention of a couple of the western slopers, and:

Sorry it took me so long to answer the Bong Signal, but I'm a busy superhero. My kid has a 10:00 soccer game, but if you plan on being up here at 8:30...that works fine.

8:30, it is. I'm planning on leaving the Springs by 7:00. I'll stop over and recheck my car on castle rock, I'll hit you up then!

What, I gotta' draw you a map? :blsmoke:

I assume you are asking about from CoS. I'm going north to Denver (to have a cup and a bowl,) and heading west on 70.

I'm still TRYING to avoid Utah, and be able to make it south to San Fransisco, to meet up with the shark. It's not looking promising for a good route. The quickest route, and the one that makes most sense, puts me nowhere near Colorado. It takes me from west of Albuquerque straight through AZ, into Bat Country and north. I have to pick up some things in Colorado Springs, though.

If I get the extra money I'm needing, I'll be coming up to Wyoming, cutting across, down, loop around and head back up. If not ... I'm not sure.

Dude, that show scared me sooooo fucking bad.
It was one of my favorites, my mom would sit and watch it with me. Always found the ending sad, that tune got me every time.

come too Canada I need a new employee ;-))
I don't wanna be an illegal immigrant, though! (Canada thinks I might be a rabble rouser, and doesn't want me.)

Isn't that show "The Hitchhiker?" I don't remember it, but I remember that I used to watch it.

Mojo, I'll be as safe as the road allows! I'm outta' shrooms, LSD, DOC, and 2C-I. Only waves and curves in the road are gonna' be real ones.

25 to the 84 to the 160 to the 25n would take you 8 hours to get to Colorado Springs! I could shave an hour off through Jicarilla Apache side roads, but they are pretty shitty roads..

No actually from Albuquerque into Colorado route first thing tomorrow! That's the info I seek.
Going to leave Milan around 7:00 tomorrow morning. LoL, I'll be taking a whole new route. I found 160 and 85. That looks like an ass-kicker of a drive! 8 hours. 30 miles farther than my old route. I'd be in Durango around 10:30 or 11:00. My other route brings me up along the Rio Grande, from southern Santa Fe up to Espanola, and then on up to Taos.
