In between my jobs and during winter I work at a garage, changed a pump on a LX two weeks ago. Had a chain. I forget what I wrote down but I think it was an 07 or 08.

hey dro, i forgot to ask if you've caught any of the new f1 cars yet?? i know you said you were looking forward to hearing the turbos and all, but eff me, what a bust imvho.. these new cars blow, or is it suck, always get that confused, lol.. just totally sucked the soul out of f1 imvho..

no belts usually need to be changed around 80k miles and chains 100k-120k miles.

no racerboy i had not seen or heard the turbo cars yet thanks. i like the non turbo engines sounds a tad more but their new sound dont bother me either. you can hear them turbos spooled up and still have a hint of that old sound left in there. they kinda sound like a spaceship or something now then the old pissed off bee sound lol

my first grand prix mr2 was with the v10s and omfg, such a magical sound.. it was at montreal, and i took a train to the isle, and as soon as i stepped off the train, and long before i could ever see a car, i heard this bansee wail screaming from the circuit.. it was amazing... when they came off throttle, it was a big whiff, almost sounded like they were breaking the sound barrier simply by coming off the long pedal... beyond epic.. i was sold that very second.. i have since seen i think three other grand prix with the v8s, and they still sounded nice too, they weren't the 10 bangers, but still 200 million times better then these new units..
the promoter of the first race of the season is thinking of suing f1 because the cars sound so shite, i think it's funny as hell because i can't stand these new pos personally..

sorry I haven't beeen round a while and wasn't going through 200+ posts mines a 2002 grand sport 6 speed manual 5.7 litre supercharged only has 60,000 miles on it

its a custom 500hp direct port nitrous system with a NOS controller to allow it to kick in at any rpm range or boost pressure we want.

damn, sweet set up dro... hey, i have a question i can never understand, but why don't cars that are setup to run on nos run good when they forget to turn the bottle on? for the life of me i can never put the two together.. i know, i know, i'm going to feel dumb when you explain it to me, lol, but that's how when learns..
