Attitude Buddha Tahoe and g13 labs freebie

I just bought a pack of the Buddha Tahoe og from attitude and got a g13 labs blue og and a delicious seeds sugar black rose which I'm really excited about because it's a black domina cross.

I was curious if anyone knew the difference between the Buddha Tahoe and regular first hand, I love Tahoe og but grabbed the Buddha Tahoe because it was..the same price and from what I read it's just an awesome version of that. But I don't know anything about the others so any information is appreciated.

I actually have a couple beens that I started germing tooday.

Here is the best description I have heard of Buddha Tahoe OG. It was from this thread:

  • the green place had a deal with Buddha to work together for the cup. Buddha would supply the weed and it would be entered under the green place.
    Buddha shows up with some shitty weed so the green place said fuck that and they went looking for better weed.
    They get Tahoe OG from Swerve to enter in the cup.
    They realize that they already have a deal in place with Buddha and he's spent a bunch of money on promos and advertisements for the cup so they have to work with him.
    The rename Tahoe OG as Buddha Tahoe OG so that Buddha is still in on the deal.
    Big Buddha decides he's going to sell Buddha Tahoe seeds and claim they're the real deal that won a cup.
    Swerve says fuck that and releases Tahoe OG under the name Buddha Tahoe OG to beat Buddha to the punch.
    The community whines about Swerve releasing the same strain under a different name.
    Swerve says fuck it and changes the strain to Louis XIII x Tahoe (Reversed)​

I have this habit of picking up seeds associated with scandals and hating of breeders. I purchased Blue Cheese by Barney's Farm around the time he was most hated. I have some Bay 11 from Ken (freebies, actually) that I will run this fall, and the B. Tahoe are part of my next run.

The Blue Cheese turned out pretty good, actually-- none of the herming that folks were complaining about. I hope the B. Tahoe will go the same way. Meh, the strain I am most excited about in my next run is Chocolate Rain anyway.

see, this is exactly the same story i had heard, and in fact, was even warned at the time of the cup, that cali con would be releasing a budda tahoe, even though it was the same exact strain as the og tahoe og they put out, for very much the same reasons you described in your post, and wouldn't you know it, a month or two later, whammo, budda tahoe came out.. i don't believe in circumstances like that.. so take it for what you will, but that's pretty much the same story i heard as well..

Yeah, I think Swerve once told the story in his own special way in some other thread, but I couldn't find it, nor could I vouch for its accuracy....

I love Tahoe so I got regular in hopes of a male. Which I'll cross with my bc chemfire and fire of bx 3. And possibly the greenhouse chemdog and bubba I have.

I ran a blue og last summer outdoors it was a nice smoke.. fast to finish good high...i'll be running it again this yr just not a huge yeilder but was started late in june.

blue og is interesting.... I had a pheno that tasted and smelled like this awful sour butter shit... was afraid I wasnt going to be able to smoke it. but it cured to some good shit. I found myself a couple times way too stoned in meetings at work after lunch... which almost never happens (all day every day user).
