after that post I used a jewelers loupe to determine sex. These all showed sex. It's down to 8 females. I guess I will go with 10 gals instead of 5 gals now and grow beasts. 2 9lb hammer, 2 quantum kush, 1 plushberry, 3 mojos og. I do have 6 in the other room under the a51 led. 2 plushberry, 2 dire wolf, 2 jilly bean. I have more seeds of all the strains except quantum. those are 2 weeks younger and haven't showed sex. They are growing pretty fast under that panel. I 'll post a pic in a little bit.

The largest ones that branched out the most so far, are the males. How Ironic

I don't know for sure. Genetic mixing always occurs to some extent. I need to read my MJ breeding book again :)

I know how to make DNA gels from scratch and perform DNA gene extraction. Maybe I should start a genetic MJ testing facility!


It would be nice to cross the Mojos back with the JOG and SOG.

I was going to do an update Apparently RIU is unsafe and been hacked and full of malware according to google. Several complaints have been filed against this site in the last 90 days. I can't get on from my home PC. Google, yahoo, Bing all have this site blocked. My internet provider blocked it too. Only can get on from my phone. Oh well. I won't be on til its safe again.

How would that get my blood boiling? I don't see a difference at all between the seedlings in those pics. They don't state what induction they are using. I highly doubt its inda gro. Its a 1 sided study (nepotism). My a51 sgs 160 and my inda gro 420 (no pontoon) veg at the same rate. It would take at least 3 a51 panels to cover same area for veg as the inda gro covers. For flowering, I cant compare yet. I need a few more panels to do a true comparison.

How does nepotism come into this? I think you mean biased. It's just a dumb article that Illumi should be ashamed of anyway. Maybe some modern, cutting edge company is scared of Tesla's technology? There's some irony to that statement :).

nepotism. Showing favoritism.... It can be taken either way.

I will say I water twice as much under induction. But the ones in the led veg are 2 weeks younger. We'll see come flower time. I expect similar results. Probably some more trichome development under induction.

Anyway - if it is above absolute zero, it is considered heat. So heat isn't always hot!

Did any of you feel the earthquake?

No where near what hid puts out. My 3 ig's put out less heat than 2 badboy 8 bulb t5 lights. A51 puts out almost no noticeable heat

the same as 400watts of HID just over a waaay larger bulb/fixture so it "feels" cooler; dissipates the heat more "softly"


edit........BTW Fran was right , your use of nepotism was incorrect...........just saying:hump:

^^^^ I'd say cooler than a 400. Probably closer to a 250w. We already went through watts vs heat .. Efficiency and materials are the factors. Not just watts remember. Not all watts are created the same. Heat is wasted energy.

I won't argue context of showing favoritism for ones own products...

I see the usage. Equates their products to children. I use this analogy with engineers and their children (projects) all the time.
