Not sure where to ask question private messaging one another- new to site??????

I was introduced to this web by a friend. I just joined up and very excited to be a part of you folks. But I seem to not be able to send a private message to a member cause I am missing my PRIVATE MESSAGING section when I go into GENERAL SETTINGS in the FORUM ACTIONS. So when I click the mouse onto a member's avatar, it opens up giving a drop down list of options and one of the options is "SEND A PRIVATE MESSAGE" but nothing shows up like that. So I compared my friend's account to mine and that's when I noticed this section under my General Settings is completely missing. Any ideas on how to get this turned on or is this something that you get awarded to you after being a member for a while ? THANKS FOR ANY HELP OR COMMENTS

Yeah, you need to spend so time with the forum setting. On this page you can get to General Setting under Forum Actions.

You have to enable a Visitor Message wall, and accept PM, if you want those.

yes its either a number of posts + a number of days
or a number of days spent on website

we dont give out the exact requirements but you'll get there , OP check the FAQ in my sig so that you can find answers to questions you might have :D

yes you did i closed that one and moved this one to the support forum, in general no need for duplicate threads, ive answered your question here.
just look up a few posts :D

I did look through the entire FAQ and didn't see anything on this subject......

There isnt an exact number I can give you if I did spammers would have that number and we would be unhappy moderators, However what I can say is to actively contribute to the forum,
it is either a certain amount of days = pm's
or certain amount of posts + days = pm's
or certain amount of post = pm's

you'll have to wait for your PM priveledges.
but if youre looking to speak to a specific person you can write on their vistor wall
have a good one!

Sorry , I am not trying to be a dick but I am missing something here - I don't understand what your saying. That you have already answered me by telling me to check the FAQ's , but I did and they was nothing on this subject..

I have been on here for the past streight 4 hours and already posted 13 threads.
