RIU - a raccoon invaded the grow. Doesn't look like it was eating anything but it did trample over everything and tried to climb the biggest girl. Had to relocate them which disrupted the photo period. Now back in their place I am noticing all the tops appear to be dying off. They are fading in color and/or turning black. I've never seen this before. This mother blackberry has been in VEG for about 6-8 weeks but I am seeing the same on younger girls of different strains. Any advice appreciated. AN 3 part ph perfect, DWC, 600W HPS, PH 5.8, PPM 430, Temps 72.

No. But less lighting in the relocated spot for approx. 5 days while dealing with the raccoon eviction! This is only happening on the tops where the newest growth is. Is she a lost cause?

Just throwing this out there, but what would happen if the racoon had pissed on them or something?
I don't think the change in lighting etc. would cause them to starting dying off or anything like that. I had to put mine from outdoors into the shed for two days when I had a party and it's poor as fuck for light and air circulation in there, and they're fine still.

Maybe the racoon was caryying some sort of fungus or something on it and infected the plant? Growth turning black that quickly is never a good sign man...

Yeah.... mine go from the sun to my closet every day. Start off at night with 10x CFL's, and go to the sun mid morning, and back to bed in the afternoon. But light change alone shouldn't cause death. Just stress and a decrease in yield... But what i'm seeing in the pics isn't something I can properly identify.

I guess my question is if anyone has seen this type of leaf problem and if there is something I can do to fix it? Should I just cut all the tops off and see what happens? If you notice in the pic of the full girl she appears lollipopped but that is really all I had to cut off from the raccoon damaging her.

Need serious help here. She's the last of a strain and I don't want to lose here. Instead of hijacking my post for entertainment can anyone offer any real help????

Your visitors can very easily transport the broad mites.

If you have a root health issue in your dwc it can cause this necrosis on new growth.
