That looks good to me, much like a Gyro.
But a gyro has lettuce and Tzatziki sauce on it.
Sorta interesting.
What's the difference between a Donair and a Gyro?

ERM, a donair as you call it, is a doner, is a gyro. They're the same thing. Like crisps and chips from UK to USA.
You say its all beef, now I'm the one wondering what it is you are eating.
And while ours is typically shit, in that its sold predominantly as drunk food so they don't Care what they make it out of as noons would know otherwise, being that they're just out of a club and drunk, but well, I'd tend to believe that Europe has a more authentic kebab than over your way![]()
Lol. Gotta love a recipe that directly contradicts the very name of the dish![]()
With regard to the English version. I don't think there is a version. Every shops meat will be slightly different, some being suspect with regard to the origin of its meat, be it rat or horse etc, but there is no "way", you order it, which basically means you order the meat. You then chose to have it filled with whatever condiments and salads you like. Its not "a doner is lettuce and tomatoes" its more here is your bread and meat, would you like any salad or sauces, and you then have 20 odd different options to put in it.
Eh? You mean, 'Dash'?
Ahh ok. Here, when you order a donair there's it comes with tomato, lettuce, yellow onion, and sweet sauce. Cheese is optional! I mena, of course you can get it with the fewer toppings, but that's pretty much it as far as toppings are concerned. lol
No, as in it contradicts the very definition of the word doner, or donair as you call it. Think of it like cooking ribs in an oven and calling it BBQ ribs.
that and reading the recipe, well, it seems apparent that it is nothing more than a meatloaf![]()
blasphemer!
Not at all. It is what it is. I resigned as sous chef because the manager refused to be honest about the food on the menu. A sirloin cooked in a water bath and then seared was not roast beef, I said sorry, I'm an honest chef, If you have to lie about the food you're selling then you shouldn't be in bsiness.
Just seen your SIG BTW. Love it! Fucking pathetic yanks, bunch of fucking pussies.
Moms birthda today here's the cute cake I made
