Haven't added any nutes and the tips on the lowest set of leaves are starting to yellow. Just noticed it today it's 2-1/2 weeks old do I need to start feeding it or wait it out til the 3 week mark?

Also what's with the lil bit of leaf curl I got goin on? Any ideas. My cabinet stays between 70-80 degrees 30-40% humidity and the lights have been about 3-4" away

I would advise caution here: that soil you have looks very very nice, pity you didn't mix in some perlite, to avoid any chance of compaction later, and to dilute the further affects of early nute burn, which are naturally ...yellowing tips of major leaves, caution and be ready to flush with air temperate. Ph neutral water, 3 times the volume of the pot!

Ok if u using soil (foxfarm ) or some similar .. My first grow I didn't feed them any thing else but water for the first 3 weeks . I was told soil comes pack with nutritions and that was the truth..

The soil I'm using is just topsoil from menards no nutes from what the bag said and I did mix some perlite in it but didn't get enough. I have a rapitest ph/light/fertility/moisture tester and when I check it it's about 7 on ph and says very low fertility. This is why I thought maybe nitrogen def.

Yeah, I think Vostok is right. If you take that same soil and mix in equal parts of shredded coir, worm castings and perlite, you'll make your roots a lot happier! Your curved leaf structure shows signs of over-watering or lack of oxygen from soil not being aerated enough.

Ok well I'm gonna go up to a 3gal I think in the future and I planned on more perlite and was gonna try work castings if I can find em. Read a lot of good things about it

I've given her 1/4 strength nutes and a foliage feed with distiller water drop of dish soap and few drops of the 1/4 nute mix. Heard dish soap was good for foliage feeding. Got kinda hot one day and they looked like they needed a drink before watering day. Did a very light mist not much at all

The cotyledon leaves on the very bottom have served their purpose and are no longer needed by the plant, same for the next single point leaf right above them. So no problems concerning those leaves. It is when the first true set of leaves above that start to yellow that I think about feeding.

I had a rapidtest PH/fertility/ tester. Just make sure It's actually working right. After reading reviews on it I learned the reader is very screwy. Many customers were complaining about the meter always reading "7". I had the very same problem and ended up tossing it. Oh and make sure your using it as it says in the instructions. I'm pretty sure it tells you to mix your soil with a certain amount of water to make it soupy then dip the stick. Hope this helps. Good luck!
