Hollow stems seen as a positive in Marijuana?

I did some googling for the past hour, as I just found out after pinching my Silver Kush that she has very hollow stems.
You can pinch them and feel the inside of them, very hollow, but thick, a contradiction, but true.

After reading, no one says it's a bad thing? Yet if found on another plant, it's seen as a bad thing?

On top of the hollow stem, my Silver Kush is also a Triploid? Has 3 nodes at each section.

Now if I attempt to clone her, will she keep both traits? May turn into the most potent plant I've grown.

A clone is a genetic copy of the original. All traits of the mother plant will remain. Congrats on the trip! I've never had one.

The hollow is simply as the genus goes.....Built in buy nature, not effected by man. It would be kinda a bitch to supercrop with solid branching....
I always supercrop with hard stems, this is the first time I've had a hollow stem.
It feels like bamboo wrap you eat with nothing inside the stem. Very squishy, feels like skin is holding the plant together.
I read about tons and tons of this on Google and everyone says it will help a lot with potency because a hollow stem allows a way bigger intake of nutrients.

Its also the only plant in my tent with that, all been on the same feeding.

My first as well, it looks really weird but if it gives me even 10% more yield I'm down to clone for a scrog.

No offense but you sound new to growing hallow stems are not a phenomenon, some strains are diffrent the genetic make up declares thickness of the stems , no matter how hard ill try but my blue dream or sour diesel will never have the thickness of my phantom cookies or cherry pie etc.

But i do agree based of an educated guess that having more "hallow" stems will allow more nutes pass thru plant bettet thus making bigger buds if not boosing yield, but definitely not potency imo, potency is all about genetics

Here's a little info about male selection and hollow stems from Capt Crip, and how they relate to stench and potency. Doesn't answer a whole lot, but it's a little something to think about.

Hate to say, but it applies to you as well in this case.
Obviously all plants have different genetics thus causing different stem thickness, but hollow stem is not something you see not even in every 10 plants.
The plants stem is so hollow, touching it causing indents and is like supercropping. Its nothing but a skin tunnel holding itself up, it'll probably bend and brake during flower.

Thanks, it does have to due with potency and stench.
Maybe I'll make her hermie at the end.

Sounds
Google it then, its not like you think, and just a stem with a hole in it, all stems are like that.
I'm talking about the stems are nothing but skin basically, like a huge tunnel not a small one.
You need to be more clear In your first post. You asked about hollow stems.

From a dealers point of view, hollow stems would be considered a very bad trait because there is some loss of weight and profit involved. But yes, cloning a plant will cause it to retain any genetic traits the mother plant has.

Lmfao.

If my dealer ever had given me stems he'd be fucking eating them.

Maybe kagecog googled too and ended up on a piece about hemp. As in fiber hemp.

Hollow stems are just partly genetics, nurture does play a large role. In particular, hollow stems can indicate calcium deficiencies. If they are hollow from calcium deficiencies they tend to be "too hollow" which you can notice when pinching them, it will crack open vertically kinda like bamboo.

Google "hollow stems calcium" no need to add cannabis, same for hemp

From a hemp point of view it would be especially bad but many dealers prefer bigger, denser stems as it does add some weight to the overall price of bud, however minuscule it may be. Not saying i'm a dealer let alone one that would worry about something like heavier stems, but I know it could be a factor.

Well, you may have a point when you sell complete plants but the stems that are large enough to be hollow are not part of a bud.

I fixed my hollow stems by adding cal/mag, amazing huh? It was not a trait I wanted or preferred. I never like deficiencies, lol

You'd be surprised actually! I've had stems in bigger indica style buds that were at LEAST 6mm thick. Girl scout cookies for example is one strain I've come across that always seems to have massive stems in the buds you receive at local dispensaries. Just look at these buds for example, stem weight would add a decent amount if you were to purchase this:
