this is mt fist grow ...i have4 ak47 that are 19 days old an i have 4more ak an one low widow 4 days old ...av a look let me know what you think ...any one grew these before wat nutes sall i buy ...i will take pics ever week or so ...hope they turn out ok ..my first go cant stop looking at them lol ...

hey orlando! welcome to RIU! how exciting your first grow :cool: and your girls (hopefully) are looking great!!

what size is that container that the four plants are in and what medium is that? i wonder if more experienced RIU members would tell you to separate them because i wonder if they'll get too big for that...however, they sure do look like they are happy. and it is awesome to look at them, isn't it. :peace:

Yes, you need to separate them. One plant per container is generally recommended. Good looking plants!

thanks.." they are looking great " when i got the seeds that was the only pot i had- it is big dont no how big but it took a 20 ltr bag of soil to fill the thing i just used soil for cuttings an seeds it was cheap but fluffy i just added blood fish an bone to it thats it they seem to be doing fine. you have me thinking now shall i split them up- i mite kill them then i would cry my leg of lol ..

Gotta keep 'em separated....

For your first grow, you seem to be doing fine, keep the plants green, don't over think anything. When you have issues that you don't understand, come here and ask questions. Ignore the disingenuous posters who have nothing good to say, and you'll do great.

Keep it as simple as possible for yourself, let the plants tell you there is something wrong with them.

You do need to separate the plants, and you should do it now before their roots intermingle any more than they might have already. Divide that soil into 4 parts, and move each part to it's own pot. This is called transplanting, and it's a little shocking for the plant, so they'll need a little time to recover.

If they're in their own pots, you can treat each plant separately and will have no trouble getting rid of the males. If you put them in the same big pot, like you have now, if one gets some horrible disease or is male and you have to cut it down, you will have to leave the roots behind because they'll be intermingled with the healthy plants' roots. And rotting roots or diseased roots in soil can infect the healthy plants' roots.

Other than that, they look really healthy, so good job! I don't do soil grows, so I can't advise you on nutes. Right now I'd say just keep doing what you're doing and do some more research on soil nutes and feeding schedules before you switch to something else. Don't fix what ain't broke, if you know what I mean! I'd keep doing what you're doing until you're 100% sure that another way would be better. Usually that means seeing your plants have a deficiency of some kind.

Also, make sure your PH is good throughout your grow.

Just FYI, this new layout for RIU will take some getting used to…but that johnnyquest quote is in Lo Budget's auto signature…it's not a quote aimed at you. Just like my grow journal links are in my auto signature. :)

going to just leave them the way they are.. theres 5 more in the tent so i think 9 plants will be fine ..

am just going to leave them 4 in that pot see how they go i have 5 more plants in there in there own pots so i will be ok. i am waiting for some big skunk 47 in the post ..going to be putting them outside se how they go ...

you are at a point where it would be totally easy to split them up, and might be sorry if you don't...they can really put some stretch and width on them once you start the flower process. :leaf: if this is your first grow, trust Lo, Ben, and Krypto's advice and get them separated before it's too late. you'll thank us. :P
also, you have to still sex them, so if one ends up a male and you need to remove him, you could then damage the root system of a girl.
it is your grow. you have got some nice looking girls there! so follow your instinct. let the other experienced users help you. (that's not me, i'm just agreeing with their advice.) good luck with your grow! :hug:

hi. you have talked me into it i will get some pots 2mrow an sort it ... i planted 3 auto ak47 outside in some wood land by my home cant wait to see if they grow ..if they do ill be putting few more there get nice stash for the year ..

i wont be repotting after all guess im lazy i just going to see how they do ..i put 3off them outside so i have alow widow an a ak a week old so when ghere done am going to try a 12 12 grow i was thinking off putting 15 plants in my tent 5 OG KUSH 5 ak47 5 white widow infact i am so they eill be done in 7 week or so then ill start my new grow i will be growing them in soil under 2 400w Mh for veg then swap blubs to hps after a month ..shud get a nice bit off green for the year ... here some picks off my grow i picked 2fan leaves off them today coz they were blocking the light its only been 12hours they have shot up ...
