Music promote growth?

Im sure youve all heard the myth that playing a plant classical music helps promote growth. Does anyone do this? And have you noticed a difference? Or has anyone grown two plants under the same conditions, one with music, one without.

Just curious....

Ive been playing my baby Mozart all day, just on a whim, and it got me wondering. Im sure there are studies out there, but I doubt there are any specifically pertaining to MJ. Who knows... she might like reggae! :P

it started with singing/talking to plants and proceeded to music .If I hear music with my plants, it means i am at home in my room and usually baked, and what d i do with music?...I/we sing, emitting CO2 which is food for the plants along with #photosysthensis.

Mind = blown. :O
Your powers of deductive reasoning make you truly worthy of your moniker.

I love when abnormal shit has a completey reasonable explanation.

Im off to watch some mythbusters!

Yeah it work good man!
In veg cycle i gaved to my ladys 2 to 3 hours of classical music each day and they loved it! If you give them non stop music or if its too high it can hurt them or even kill them! I noticed that mine didnt love too much to hear constant music i could see it in the leaves gotta be careful and keep an eye on ur plants but yeah it work for sure (: Didnt tryed it yet in flowering since they did seem to hate the music at the end of veg :S i'll try it again soon to see if they grow faster in flowering too

lmao :bigjoint: well it can work good :) What does count is the emotions that you put in ur voicetone that do the difference! Plants just like animals and humans or any other kind of life can feel emotions ^^

As was mentioned earlier, it's not so much the music as it is the "exhaled co2" from all the singing along. But if you really want to make the thing pop - make yourself one of those tinfoil hats to wear while you'r in there! Sorry, please forgive me, I couldn't resist.

Vibratons in the air? Really? Yeah, I saw that episode of "Mythbusters" too. I still don't believe it. Show me some credible evidence, an actual scientific study. I believe what we have here is anthropomorphisization gone wild!

Don't get me wrong, but I love a old classic rock. I think if your working in your garden, listening to a soft mellow tune might just cause you your self to relax and be able to think better in caring or making smarter decisions rather than trying to think clearly when your head is being hammered with what some call music.... It's like when your fu_king.... What type of music your all bone-ing to is what type of fuc_ing will be going on. Plain and simple
So what would you think would happen to a weed plant that got blasted its whole life with acid rock......????? :mrgreen:

I was actually thinking about sex after reading the CO2 thing yesterday. I grow in my room, and also screw quite a lot (Thanks Ms. Comorbid!), so I wonder does all the post coital panting help?
Even if it doesnt, im going to tell the missus it does.
