Help with lst needed!!!!!!

Hi peeps. I am about to plant 3 different sativa strains but have hieght limitations. I am going to give them 3 1/2 weeks veg in small pots then transfer to 2 gallon pots for 5 days then switch them to 12/12. Should/can I tie them down once wen i switch or should I keep tieing using the round the pot method during the strech. Would like to keep them below 3 1/2 feet tall

i use 2 gallon pots and veg about that same time
mostly a hybrid grower, though i'm trying to finish a sativa grow
i use the around the pot method, but as long as you can bend the plant, you can lst

that is what i do, about 3 weeks of veg
i suppose a sativa could go aound the whole pot, and some more, but lst should still work
3 1/2 feet is close, depends on the sativa, finishing current sativa in similar height with no lst
