small 6-8" plants from seed went to 'flower'

they were all germinated in tissue, then cups with soil, sat under windowsill, 24 in total

9 shot up "pistols" guaranteed fems?
put under lights in room (20/4) led ufo 135w + 8x 14w CFL mix 2700 6500

they seem to not be 'going back' to veg, it's been 2 weeks.

do they take long? IWant to veg them till 3-4ft, then flower,
SCROG setup ready *nylon made screen @ 5ft

lights are low - 4-6" from tops

all plants have been topped at their 5th node (for 'lst' scrog)

help/answers are much appreciated

I'm thinking there is not enough light so the plants are trying to do their thing and make buds and seeds. If room was mine I would tighten it up and try growing less plants. With the lights you have there isn't enough lumens to grow them much taller than 2 feet. Take wattage of lights and divide by size of room and you should get a number around 30-50 watts per square foot. Anything under 15-20 watts square foot will not grow much of a plant and the plant if grown under those conditions may try to flower and get it over with as plant thinks dim lights mean winter and time to make seeds for next year.

this makes me sad.

I it seems nice and bright, but obviously, the LED ufo thing is a scam, and I've been taken for a ride... it said 6 plants.
and my rooms 2x4x10h ft

so I guess I needa get a friken 400w power eating light

Could you post a close up of the plants where you think they are flowering?

As far as the light goes you could bump the CFLs up to 23 watts each. That would help a bit, and drop them real close to the plants. I don't know much about LEDs so I can't help with those

You could very well fit 6 plants under that small light, but the problem is they would have to be very small plants.
The containers would have to be very slim, as those containers are too wide and won't allow you to bunch them up together.

I agree you got fucked on that light, but honestly anyone could have told you that, sorry to burst your bubble.
How much did it cost? and how long ago did you purchase it? If not too long ago, send it back.
If you bought that light for over $125, send it back. You could get an ENTIRE light kit (Hangers, Air hoods/cool tubes, timers, 2 bulbs 1 mh 1 hps) for under $150 for 400W and all the lighting equipment needed.

The plants need more light, that is all.
Those CFLS need to be literally on top of those plants, like almost touching close.
As long as those are cool bulbs and not bulbs that run hot, you should have no problem putting them every 1cm from the leaves, test it out and see what distance is the closest you can get without burning.

Other than that nothing is wrong, but your lights.

and 1cm !!!!! really that close ?? damn, ok, yeah they're cool enough to touch, so I guessed 15-25cm would be enough...
I'll drop them closer

also, I made yeast mix in the bottle, and shake/up every day
seems to be constantly bubbling, so, c02 may be being supplemented ??
i turn computer fans off for hour in mornin, to allow co2 to fall on em, and then turn on, to circulate ???

that wrong ?

Wait... I just reread the original post. Did you put them into flower to sex them? If you did it can take weeks even a month to see good growth in veg again. I'd still like to see some close ups.

Well depends, if you purchased normal seeds, most would say yes you did the right thing.
Normal seeds can be male or female and thus wasting 5-6 months on a grow that could be a male plant isn't worth it.
Some find it better to sex normal seeds before making the commitment.

If they are feminized or auto plants, I would say no. You just stressed them into 2-3 weeks of no to bad growth.

and yeah, if they were fem seeds I wouldn't have done that by choice.

To sex plants I wait until they are big enough to clone. Then take the rooted clone and flip that to flower while the bigger plants keep growing in veg. Just a thought for next time.

And its never to late to journal!

realistically with a 2x4 you need 600 watts. I mean you would really be stretching a 400 in that area. You have 8 sq ft and imo 400 do up to 6 but I wouldn't trust any more than that. 600 is 9 sq ft so it would more than cover your space the duo led is fine if you have one, maybe two plants under it.
