No,the way Ive always grown is in 3 gal buckets,I give them 2 liters of feed every 3/4/5 days.I know its not the done thing but it works for me-until now of course,Ive obviously watered them drunk then watered them again next day without checking first.Doh!Wont do that again though, the 2 plants are a fecking mess! ;-(

bummers man... that kinda sucks

If you live at a sunny hot region you can save the plant from drowning by allowing the sun light to heat the soil and dry it up for you, but that puts you at risk especially if it's in flowering phase, I heard a lot say that the cannabis flowers odor travels far.

If only there was a way to dig a hole near the edge of the pot that runs the bottom of the pot so the excess water can be easily collected and removed that would surely solve your problem without drilling a drainage hole, but most likely wet soil will crumble if you dig too deep.

Its got me doubting myself, thinking it was stupid to grow with no drainage holes but its worked perfect for me up til now

Overwatering is another way of saying suffocating. If the roots are getting oxygen, then it is impossible to overwater. I'm sure you guys know this, but it leads to my next thing. So I've heard of people wrapping bubble stones in cotton or a cloth of some sort, and burying it in their soil to have active aeration. If you do it right, this should ease the worries of overwatering. I've never tried it but I think I will soon.

Why not place some drainage holes to let the extra water out? You can always place a collection tray under the pot after putting holes in it, or simply put a stopper in the holes once the excess water comes out. Good luck with it..
