I put mine out during the waxing moon phase during the month of May. Farmers Almanac say to plant "above ground fruit bearing plants" during the waxing moon phase, and "below ground fruit bearing plants" during the warning moon phase. This year the May waxing moon phase will be the first 2 weeks, so mine will go in about the 7th. I get 13:50 minutes of sun on that day. They're in the greenhouse now with a 1000 MH come on from 6:00am to 8:00am then the sun takes over, it kicks back on at 6:00pm and off at 8:00pm. This is the same amount of light they'll get (roughly) on that May 7th date.
There's my 2 cents,
