Week 5/6 and iv been feeding it a npk of 777 every other feeding with the addition of cal mag and pk13/14, it's a soiless mix which iv added fertilisers to aswell. Might just feed water for the next couple weeks with just pk13/14?? Leaves ate dark shiny green at the top and papery looking with claw tips. Cheers

AB, need to see more pics. If you are getting clawed leaf tips that could be either lack of water or to much N. Dark green would probably be to much N.

What kind of ferts? Time release granules can cause problems by releasing to much nutes if you are watering often. Some potting soil comes with the nutes in it. You can transplant to a more neutral soil and that should help give the roots an option if they don't like the fert levels.

It's not a lack of water so iv put it down to nitrogen, iv been watering her carefully the last couple weeks and she seems happy enough so far so Il keep an eye on it! Cheers for the input man.

That's a good point man!! I regret putting them in now.. They where like some slow realising fert balls and had quite a high npk. Never thought if it like that but your right the plant doesn't get a chance to avoid it if it's in the soil.. Wouldn't be growing if you didn't learn each time ha! Cheers.

A few root shots of my last three bucket Hempy's.
One WW mainlined to 14 on far right and two Ice one @ 8 mains on far left and washed the roots and one @ 6 mains middle.
There were grown in 3 gallon Hempy's. They were cut on 4/20 and just removed the stem and roots today, very little discoloration, these were some happy roots.
One thing I was not pleased with was the mix, I went with 75/25 Perlite/Vermiculite. When removing the root system from the buckets the Vermiculite was very dominate. Next grow my be 100% Perlite. I believe the additional O2 to the roots with the lighter material will be better.
Any comments welcome.

Yeah MO, I just put the cola in bags for the night, will hang them again tomorrow for one to two days and maybe repeat.
I am disappointed in my decisions during this grow. I wasted a good 4 inch's of stem by over trimming.
Next grow will be different.
Got a question for you.
I got some seeds from a friend that breeds in Nor Cal.
He bred a female Cotton Candy X male Black Berry/Grape Ape from Mr. B's. Got maybe 25 nuts, have not opened them as they are vacuumed sealed. How would you grow them in my 6.25 sqft. cabinet?

Sex them, and then you should have half. 2x3ft is 24x36 inches or 2x3 12" square pots or #5 smart pots. Or just make one big bed or two totes of soil...
I used one gallon pots which were perfect for a pheno hunt. Although I did find out that the clones from the seed plants were different than the seed plants. Now I know to grow a clone from each seed plant to get a feel for the characteristics. So you could do one gallon bonsai plants

This was a clone from the WW that I had planned to veg for more clones to mainline this fall but did not want to hold them over the summer so I put her in with the other ladies about 6 weeks ago. She got the cabinet to herself when I harvest the other ladies last Sunday, 4/20/14.
I had her all spread out like a 2 buck trick trying to get as many clones as I could, Well now she is very strange looking but growing well.
