ive been on this forum for a while now. its been quite some time since ive visited. while away from the arts of growing i went to school and learned a few things ill explain why all those multi-colour(3 band,5 band, ect) led lights are bullshit.
plants as we know like sun light and anything close to it. now back when i was a boy people were using something called mercury vapour lights to grow.. this was before HPS was around..(hints at my age) we had them up to 400Ws or at least that was the biggest i could find.. they did the job pretty well.. you could choose from 2700k or 5000K..
that being said people have been using white light since the start to grow our plants.. its worked with awesome results under HID lights.. of course im a solid believer that nothing beats the sun.. its brighter than anything.. but you can imitate it at least a little bit. plants are evolved to accept white light. its as simple as that. they use all spectrum's of light for development. having so called designated bands for plants is mostly crap. we hardly even know what exactly the plant does with photosynthesis . and to judge what a plant requires is just dumb.
ive seen what id say would be the best so called official grow light and i am by no means associated with this company, it just that they have done their research and came to same results that i have. they have a good reason why its all white

if you look around on that website it explains why its all white and what they had before.. that company even started with the popular purple looking light scam.
but for me and probably you as well.. 500 bucks is a bit steep for a closet grow...
now for lumens. the truth is. there is no such thing as too much.. if anyone ever said that about LED lights they are full of shit. what the problem is. is that the plant is lacking certain colour ratios and is stunting from that. it is not because of too much light intensity. HEAT is a problem though, that will burn and stunt plants.
with all of this being said it comes down to wtf to buy. and im not trying to push a stupid product down your neck im trying to be honest and put aside crap so we can grow cheaply and efficiently. without stupidly high markup and scams. you can choose to believe me or not but the lights im gonna post on here will work wonders and you can choose to go up in wattage this is just the best bang for the buck i could find on the whole internet.. and for LED lights im showing you, growing every 50W of light is about the same as 200W HPS. NOTE: you might have to wire your own plug end onto the light.. its not all that hard.. and if your really unsure about doing it. take it to a hardware store and ask someone to do it for you. also you can get different colour temps 3700K and 5000K so warm and daylight basically.. Id suggest one of each and with the prices that are there why the hell not.. its no 500 bucks thats for sure.. and youll get good results.. ill be growing with these lights myself maybe even use the 150Ws.. and ill put the journal on here

you can choose to take my word or not. but I think what im saying is the truth. and its going to be hard to prove otherwise..
