Did 60%+/- rez changes yesterday and brought PPMs up to low 700 range on all containers. A PPM check this afternoon revealed PPMs in the 560 - 580 range...guess they were hungry. Gonna let them just chill for a day or two before I give em more nutes. They were all in a little be of shock, I'm sure, from the MASS pruning and toppin I've done over the last 4 - 5 days, but they are spitting out new growth all over the place. The shock, if you can call it that, lasted all of about 24 - 36 hrs. After years of use, I'm a firm believer that Liquid Karma truly helps plants recover from and/or endure any type of shock, be it from pruning, transplanting, topping, etc, etc. very quickly....all those B vitamins and amino acids are no BS....Liquid Karma = Sea Kelp extracts. Even though I use a different recipe for clone rooting these days (due simply to the fact that I use a cloning machine now and LK can clog sprayers), I've had great success cloning with just Ph'd RO water and LK on many occasions in the past.
Look no further than the post above and see what happened to the roots when pruned and transplanted...the only thing really added during this 72hr period was Liquid Karma...rather than seeing noticeable shock, the plant seemed excited (partially because of it going into DWC, I'm sure,...but I don't discount the LK effect).
I have no affiliation with Botanicare and have nothing to gain by promoting their products. However, after nearly 10 years of using their products I, for one, am a believer. Here's another thing...I've been in dozens and dozens, if not 100s of hydro stores all along the west coast. They all carry different lines of products and they all try to pimp this and that line, but....you know what they ALL have in stock?? Yep, Botanicare. Just look at your local store(s) next time you're there and you'll see. I have not heard one store clerk dis their products...and they all carry them. It doesn't surprise this kid.
