My grow roms are done!

I have put my 2 Homeboxes together, hooked my pumps & trays, set up my lights and ventilation fans, and set my timers. I have my nutrients on deck waiting to get poured. I am stoked.

Here's the ballasts & timers, vegg box, flower box, lights on and lights off.

I need to get some plants in there! We ordered some seeds from seed.bay (Blue Mystic, Northern Lights, Papaya, Pot o' Gold, and Super Skunk) and sent of the money order this morning... I am thinking of starting off with the Papaya.

The vegg light is a 400w MH Hortilux. The flower light is a 600w HPS.

What do you think?

Here's my vent fans... a Can Fan RS4ho in the vegg box, and a Can Fan RS6 in the flower box. When the fans are on, there is a draft pulling air into the boxes, and the temp stays cool inside - I am so stoked about it. Last time I grew, it was a closet grow with poor ventilation... I am really expecting the ventilation system to pay off in much better harvests.

Each box will also have a 6" oscillating fan giving my ladies a nice soft breeze - those come in Thursday.

Thanks for the kind words. I did a lot of research on my equipment - nothing was a spur of the moment decision. I am hoping to reap some serious harvests... a LOT of serious harvests. Each Homebox will house 12 plants (24 all together).

We pieced everything together, getting some stuff from local hydro shops, some stuff from eBay, some stuff from 4hydroponics.com (free shipping rules!). We spent about $1800 total. It should be recouped with the first harvest.

Each Homebox took about 20 minutes to set up - those things are rad! My last grow was so "ghetto" compared to this one. The lights, fans, trays, all took about 2-3 hours. I was hitting the volcano, having bouts of OCD (did you see how I coiled & zip tied my cables? I have a bad case). But my shit is all neat and orderly and easy to access... and I don't have to do it again.

damn man $1800 total you better reap some serious harvedt I'm sure you will I can't get over how great your growbox looks so white and clean looks like you could make computer chips there.

good luck on your grow keep us posted on your progress(with pics.)

i know the OCD. my friends call me monk. the bartenders don't know what to say when i keep straighting all the coasters within my reach.

Thanks. I have a huge pump full of Purell in the grow room. First thing I do when I walk in the room, every time I walk in, is sanitize my hands. I need to keep those boxes nice and clean.

That is an impressive setup. I think you should read Al B Fucts thread, How to get a harvest every two weeks. Remember when you plant your first seeds, plant double what you want to end up with. I believe you will want to set up a cloning area soon after that. VV

I have read and reread his thread, an will do so again at your suggestion. Its got a lot of good 411.

I am in the middle of figuring out what t do about my cloning sitution... make one myself, or get a prefabricated model.... hmmm...

If you think that is OCD...My friend actually gets naked when he goes into his grow area.

I think that hand sanitizer is nothing more than good sense to keep your hands clean!
