lol i ask about 'iorning out the creases because obv you are a breeder and make and sell seeds....and Imo the dog strain feels quite unfinished however i would be referring to the s1 not realizing there's a bx2 ....
so are herms still present in the bx2??.......is there still viable pollen being produced??.....if i remember correctly the strains u have mentioned only put out narns near death and these do not produce viable pollen......
i personally would love to grow dog but a herm strain that's super stretchy and pretty low yielding with the possibility of a 15week flower ().......puts me off at least with chemdawg the narns don't seed, flowers are huge and smoke is super stinky and potent......
im not trying to piss anyone off, but the sample don sent me was very very very tastey poss my number two fave.....and id love to buy a few packs, but there's too many kinks in the pipework for me......herm traits will go on and on producing herm plants i want bud not narns!!
Firstly, there are many Dog seeds in circulation, many of which are not S1's of the Dog that I run. I have never grown a 15 week Dog strain, and I trully suspect that the Dogs that have been grown to this length are perhaps crosses of something else.
And you are granted your opinion, Lemon but as I stated, how on earth can you stabilise an S1 strain short of introducting and back crossing with another strain.
So, on to the stabilising of the Dog strain, the BX range. There has been work done on the dog with backcrossing from a male that came from an OG of similar linneage. The resulting seeds have produced good results with only the odd plant showing any sign of producing herm traits.
More work will be done on this strain in the future. I just do not have the time or space to do that....things are changing on that front.
So what I should be saying is, if you want Fire, then buy a pack and do some work, or get a clone from someone that doesn't have the issue. OR continue with Chemdog.
Slainte.
