it's a fucking 22 pistol, which makes it useless

you have to enter a pin on your magic watch before you can fire it, which makes it even more useless.

if the watch gets broke, No Gun
if the watch gets wet, No Gun
if the delicate electronics inside the gun break, No Gun
and even if everything works perfectly,, it's a .22, so... No Gun.

if that is a "smart gun" where are they gonna find people stupid enough to pay $2000 for a .22 that may or may not fire when you need it?
If you enter the PIN number backwards on your watch, the police will come.

Locks on guns have been here since the 18th century, nothing new under the sun, no new paradigm broken, just a stupid useless piece of shit .22 auto pistol destined for the trash heap. I would rather have a Jennings .22 and that says more than you know.

if it's no big deal then why the death threats to gun shop owner who wished to sell these?
are you stupid?

in your own "citations" you can read that new jersey has a law mandating every handgun in the state become a "smart gun" as soon as any "smart gun" is sold anywhere in the US.
selling this fail ass piece of shit will trigger that law

california likewise has "smart gun" requirements in place, waiting to impose their stupidity upon us all as soon as their imaginary technology (which you have been asserting is ready for some time now) matures

REAL guns (like, you know, not a .22) will bash delicate electronics to bits when they are fired, and having to wear an ugly cheap digital watch (that costs two racks) all the time, and THEN having to text in my "pin code" with the tip of a pencil before i can git to the shootin is retarded.

1. the pin is for activation..once
2. watch breaks, get a new one
3. waterproof watch
4. delicate electronics in a casio? lullers
5. the technology will expand to all guns eventually
6. competition will change pricepoint
7. i can't wait for wal-mart to sell them

no, the technology is not "here" and no "paradigm has shifted"

back in the 90's there was a gun tested by some PD's in calif, which used a magnetic lock and a ring to disable a gun when not held by the ring wearer

the gun locking mechanisms broke down after just a few hundred shots.

that technology is 100x more reliable than delicate electronics, a fugly ass cheap watch and a pin code that requires intense concentration and a bent paperclip to enter.

NOTHING has changed.

1. activation every time you want to use the gun, numbnuts. at least it's not for every shot.
2. super special magic watch costs 2 grand, and is only available from the manufacturer of the "gun"
3. it doesnt look waterproof to me.
4. the electronics in the gun dumbass, you know, where the explosions happen...
5. not on my guns.
6. no, it wont. thats the beauty of government mandates.
7. then you deserve a wal-mart gun.
