Try going to a Rainbow Gathering. Plenty of rainbow folks have land that they let family stay at from time to time.

You my friend, are looking for Abhayagiri. There you will find peace.

Abhayagiri Buddhist Monastery

"We do offer the possibility of stays of up to three months, but please note that any request for a long-term stay has to be considered by the resident community and is by no means always possible or appropriate."

I don't think Theravada Buddhists are very big on pot and booze. Those Vajrayanists on the other hand...

You might want to check out Zendik Farm.

True, but if one seeks enlightenment and has not practiced before, it might be best after all to clear ones mind of any altering substances so to fully grasp the lessons. Then, when you have learned... add cannabis to your daily meditations and experience true Dhamma.

Stay the hell away from Zendik! Do you know anything about them? There is some creepy shit going on at that farm.

What part of the country are you in? My friend Glen operates Smokey Bowl Family Farm in North Carolina, he lets people work (about 2-3 hours a day) for rent on his organic shiitake and vegetable farm... It's in the middle of the Smokey Mountains, beautiful piece of land. It's not for from the Appalachian Trail and we had hikers stop by all the time.

You can come be my gardener slave person. I'll let you live in the shed, and all you have to do it work 14 hour days, and figure out how you're going to pay for your "weed, and wine" lofl.
