looking good.
yea man I did when I placed it horizontally. I found this easily fixed though by putting some blue tack just underneath the light so against the bottom of it and the pc. Sort of creates some support for it, also the lights dont get to hot as to melt it or anything. Also, have you had issues with the light sliding down and not staying put when it's on the back panel?
Find yourself some rare earth magnets for your LED strips or use some velcro strips. Nothing worse to open your box and find a prize bud broken off due to your light falling.... just saying, shit happens sometimes.yea man I did when I placed it horizontally. It would be risky to do Velcro because the Panda film isn't glued down or attached to the side panel, so I think there would be a risk of tearing it. The magnets are pretty strong. I think the the panda film is just very smooth so the weight of the lights cause them to slide. It takes a good tug to actually detach them.Find yourself some rare earth magnets for your LED strips or use some velcro strips. I could possibly move it right above the other one if that would be a better spot for it... OR i could try and put it on the door of the case, so on the opposing wall, might be a bit difficult but could prove to work out best? Think that's a good idea?Your leds have strange angles, I mean you always must get the best angles and as much coverage as you can..
Potentially bringing your vertical led lower or closer somehow, meaning that it should point to your lady straight!
Looking really nice man!!
Cheers!
Epic man, so good to see lots of people getting into these PC cases, pricey with shipping and all but defs worth it in the long run and for the fun haha.Hey there allseasons! Just subbed up! I'm also doing a grow in the exact same pc cabinet - will be starting my own journal in a day or two. I'm in Australia and doing an organic grow. I plan on main-lining my plants (2) and perhaps scrogging on top of that. One of my girls is about 32 days old and the other is a few days behind that. I'll post a pick later if anyone is interested. Good luck with your grow man!
Put 2 spots of silicone caulk on the back of the light strip and let it cure. That spot of caulk will cause a bit of friction and won't let it slide down the slick surface. It would be risky to do Velcro because the Panda film isn't glued down or attached to the side panel, so I think there would be a risk of tearing it. The specs for the lights are listed on the site so you could always throw them onto google and you'l probably get some results.
Osram Golden Dragon Plus LEDs. 12 red, 2 Royal Blue, and 3 White 3500Ks. The sum of the forward voltages is 44.1V and 0.50 constant Amps are running through them. This means they're fed with 22 Watts.
Yeap, Red(630nm): Blue(460nm) 2:1 ratio.Thanks dude!
Hmm, yeah, i know i can do my own DIY light, but im too lazy, damn...
