Hey allseasons,

I just got the same PC box and doing my first grow, 5 days in. Going to create my own post soon which people can follow. I'm doing two northern lights autos in 2 one gallon pots. Here's my setup.

3x - 15w LED light rails (45w total)
(Red(630nm): Blue(460nm) 2:1 ratio.
2 exhaust fans and 1 intake fan (seems like it has good airflow).
Temps: 78-81 degrees F.
Humidity: 40% with lights/fans running. 50-60% during dark hours.
Light cycle: 18/6.
Soil/nutes: BioBizz light mix soil, bio-grow, bio-bloom.
Pots: 1 gallon round, plastic.
Water: distilled
Strain: 2 Northern Lights Autoflowers from nirvava.

Hey guys another update coming in!
So far ScrOG has been going well, although I wouldn't be sure how to tell if it wasn't haha but everything seems to be going smoothly.
2 changes I've made to my scrog since my last post are...
1. Changed where I've got my lights situated, currently got 1 on the top, one vertical up the side and one horizontal right next to her. Pictures below will show you guys where the two lights on the sides are. I couldn't really get an even distribution of the lights around the box so I figured on horizontal next to it would be good, getting the plant to fill the net depth wise of the case. The other light on the right hand side was placed for two reasons. Firstly I had the main steam being weaved towards the other side of the case and figured I would need extra light on the right side to ensure she covered the net evenly, and secondly some of the light protrudes slightly lower than the net, I figured this would mean bud sites would begin to grow out towards the light on the side while also angling up, and as such would eventually reach the net on this side creating an even spread.
2. I've started pushing most of the fan leaves through the net right out of the way. Some of the fan leaves are quite large and I noticed these were actually blocking the light to some of what I believe to be bud sites. I figured the bud sites want to receive as much light as possible and the fan leaves didn't really need it quite as much.

PLEASE let me know if what I've done here is incorrect so I can fix it, it is my first grow so I am unsure if this is the correct way to be doing this! The photos should help to clarify what I mean.

@Triplec Hey man, looking forward to see how yours goes! Link me your thread when you get it up and running, I'll see if I can throw you some tips based of my first grow. Should be interesting to see how two plants go, but to be honest I think your on the right track. Looking at my scrog net now, two plants would've started filling it up quite nicely.

Also, have you had issues with the light sliding down and not staying put when it's on the back panel?

yea man I did when I placed it horizontally. I found this easily fixed though by putting some blue tack just underneath the light so against the bottom of it and the pc. Sort of creates some support for it, also the lights dont get to hot as to melt it or anything.

Your leds have strange angles, I mean you always must get the best angles and as much coverage as you can..
Potentially bringing your vertical led lower or closer somehow, meaning that it should point to your lady straight!
Looking really nice man!!

Cheers!

Hey there allseasons! Just subbed up! I'm also doing a grow in the exact same pc cabinet - will be starting my own journal in a day or two. I'm in Australia and doing an organic grow. I plan on main-lining my plants (2) and perhaps scrogging on top of that. One of my girls is about 32 days old and the other is a few days behind that. I'll post a pick later if anyone is interested. Good luck with your grow man!

Find yourself some rare earth magnets for your LED strips or use some velcro strips. Nothing worse to open your box and find a prize bud broken off due to your light falling.... just saying, shit happens sometimes.

It would be risky to do Velcro because the Panda film isn't glued down or attached to the side panel, so I think there would be a risk of tearing it. The magnets are pretty strong. I think the the panda film is just very smooth so the weight of the lights cause them to slide. It takes a good tug to actually detach them.

I could possibly move it right above the other one if that would be a better spot for it... OR i could try and put it on the door of the case, so on the opposing wall, might be a bit difficult but could prove to work out best? Think that's a good idea?

Epic man, so good to see lots of people getting into these PC cases, pricey with shipping and all but defs worth it in the long run and for the fun haha.
I will defs be tuning in to your grow, best of luck!

Could anyone recommend any of the neuts on this site? Its a New Zealand one so shipping will be cheap for me. Keep in mind its a small grow so i wont need much! Also for flowering of course =).

I'm doing an organic grow, so I don't use nutes; I just mix up a soil mix with heaps of good stuff in there and after it finishes 'cooking' I put my girls in it and just water them. No nutes, no checking ph, no ppm, no flushing!

Put 2 spots of silicone caulk on the back of the light strip and let it cure. That spot of caulk will cause a bit of friction and won't let it slide down the slick surface.

Okay so I think its finally time to throw this gal into flower!
So I planted her after germ on about the 20th of march, but she didn't break the surface until about a week later, soooo i'd say its about DAY 54!
Hasn't been the fastest grow, although I'm not exactly sure what entails a fast grow but almost 8 weeks in veg seems like a long time, might pick up some AK48's for a nice quick grow next time http://www.nirvanashop.com/en/feminized-marijuana-seeds/820-ak48-feminized-5-seeds.html.
Going to change the light schedule to 12/12 tonight, was wondering, do I simply have the lights turn on as usual then just have them turn off 12 hours later, rather than 18? This is what I am going to do, unless someone tells me otherwise by this evening, although I don't think it will be a rather big deal! Should I begin mixing the flowering neutes in the water as of today, or am I best to wait until shes been into flower for some period of time?
Should I be looking at watering her anymore throughout flowering? Currently been giving her a good water every second night.

Just got some general shots of how shes fairing at the moment. The screen is probably covered up slightly less than 50% if not 50% so I figured now is the best time. I did a fair bit of weaving and bending of her tonight, and after that I think I'll just let her grow up until shes done... OR should I proceed to bend and weave her for one more session in a week or two? If someone could shed some light, would be helpful!
There's been some discoloration on a few of the leaves, namely only the ones towards the bottom, but a few a bit higher up, been sort of ignoring these but maybe not the best idea, just thought they were few and far so I'd just let her do her thing and she how she fairs going into flower!

So approaching two weeks into flowering, not much change seen although a fair bit of growth. ScrOG nets been filling out nicely. Figured im going to stop ScrOGing her now and let her go upwards, although I'll do some more reading into this tonight and find out if I should continue to, so we shall see!
Attempting to rig up my IV drip to water her over the holidays, although I set it so the pressure is at around 5 drips per second and it eventually slows over the course of the day to around 1 drip every 20s which is ideal but it'll continue to slow until basically nothing comes out, so need to sort this out soon.
Been adding the nuets to the water at around 10ppm or whatever the units are.
anyway here are some photos.

Hmm, yeah, i know i can do my own DIY light, but im too lazy, damn...
As i read on icmag by the seller, it is custom using:
Code:
Osram Golden Dragon Plus LEDs. 12 red, 2 Royal Blue, and 3 White 3500Ks. The sum of the forward voltages is 44.1V and 0.50 constant Amps are running through them. This means they're fed with 22 Watts.
Right?

Yeap, Red(630nm): Blue(460nm) 2:1 ratio.
