Noob - Can this harvest be saved???

Hello Gentleman,

I am partnering in a grow with a noob and we about ready to harvest a plant. The trichomes are mostly clear with some milky color.
However the plants look rather dry with some crispy leaves and much yellow and some brown. I understand that this might have resulted from poor plant care. I have given pure water for a couple of days.

1. Should I cut it before it dries out more?
2. Should I wait another week for some amber trichomes? (If I wait will the plant die?)
3. Should I forget growing and go to work for a Bank?

I think you've discovered a way to dry and cure on the stem, not sure it will catch on though!!
