What's interesting to me is that members of this website cite him as a source and listen to his bullshit. What i REALLY dont get is why the Republicans aren't all over this. This is right up their alley. I thought they were all about individual liberty and states rights and government not meddling etcetera etcetera..

This is one issue the Republicans will eventually wish they got behind quicker.

The sad reality is though that they take this position because of a sizable proportion of the voting population feels this way, or closer to it.

Most of them, when pressed, would say that it is within the states rights to run this experiment. They just don't want their state to run it.

The only problem with that crowd will be how many of them shift their opinions when the data comes back that legalization results in massive revenue for very little social harm.
