I have been dealing with Dr. Greenthumb Seeds in Canada for something like 15 years and most of my keeper plants like OG Kush, Sour Diesel, Chemdawg etc.,have come from there. My mates and neighbours always ask where I get my genetics and I always tell them Dr. Greenthumb in Canada. Well it seems there is another edjit who is trading on Greenthumb Seeds Canada good name and selling seeds thourough Humbolt Seeds Organization, who you'd think would be out of California but in fact out of the U.K....but that's another story. This guy in Colorado who calls himself variously Dr. GreenThumb, Dr. Green Thumb and now just Dr. Greenthumb is confusing the community into thinking he is the real Dr. Greenthumb. I only learned this when my mates asked why they weren't getting the same kind of results I was. Their plants yielded less, were less potent, had lower germination rates and hermies...I've never had a single hermie plant from the real Dr. Greenthumb. The fake Dr. Greenthumb and HSO seeds offerings cost less but in my opinion and that of others, they aren't as good. It's up to the consumer to decide but I just thought the community should know.

This community is full of opportunist and scam artists unfortunately. it also is full of great folks. While I've enjoyed the "real" dr. Greenthumbs gear, I may be inclined to toss him near that label at the ridiculous prices and shitty attitude towards buyers.

Eh I have some HSO beans lying around that were freebies, will probably stay that way. I grew their emerald triangle. It was massive but it really was a let down in overall quality. A B- grade would be generous to be honest. Great probably for commercial croppers.

Judging by the size of the flowers and the trichome production I don't think I'll be blown away but it's 1 seed and it doesn't look "bad" either. The flowers are massive compared to the Trainwreck X LaCon and ConKUshion I got in there with it all started flowering the same time and the LA Con Cross has way more trichomes, EmDog barely any. This is all speculation however
I see they got B-real to put his name on an autoflower sativa when all he raves about is hardcore indicas on his channel. Hope he got paid well

I work in the music business and I've been hearing this for years. Cypress Hill and the fake Dr. Greenthumb are in business together, so of course Cypress Hill "endorse" the fake Dr Greenthumb strains.
It's a classic David and Goliath story where big money, (Cypress Hill and the fake Dr. GreenThumb) have been trying to steal the name of the little guy (Dr. Greenthumb) for years. I looked it up today just to check. The fake Dr. GreenThumb apparently with Cypress Hill money tried to Copyright the name Dr. Greenthumb in 2001. That failed so Cypress Hill tried to copyright the song name to steal the Dr. Greenthumb name through the back door. That is pending.
I bought my first pack of seeds from Dr. Greenthumb Seeds Canada back in about 1995 after meeting Doc in Amsterdam. Doc IMO is a straight up, honest guy. I have met him twice again in Sligo when he was here for Sligo live and once again at a session at the Cobblestones in Dublin. Check for yourselves, Drgreenthumb.com has been around since 1998 before anyone heard of Cypress Hill.
I'll say it again. From what I'm seeing the fake Dr. Greenthumb is selling so-so seeds at a low price and the real Dr. Greenthumb sells stellar genetics at a higher price, so it's a matter of choice but I don't like the fact the fake Dr. Greenthumb and Cypress Hill are ganging up on the real Dr. Greenthumb and trying to steal his hard-earned name with a concerted effort to fool the community.

And I doubt it has ANYTHING to do with Dr Greenthumb seeds cananda, considering that Cypress Hill's Dr Greenthumb song is from 1998. OGman, you think they've been plotting this since 1998 when DR Greenthumb canada wasn't doing shit, and no one heard of him? No. Did Dr Greenthumb canada even call himself that and have a seed business in 1998? If anything he took the name from Cypress Hill.
