Outdoor 1gal pots

It happened that i found a couple of seeds in a fruit bag. I germinated mid april. The setup is just peat soil in 1.5 gal pots planted outdoors.
I germinated using the wet towels method. And 3 babies were born. They live and flower in this little pot outdoors if possible. That's how they looked like at 3 days in soil.

Total $: 10$ for 3 plastic pots and 5$ for a huge bag of something that says german peat soil, packed locally.

That's an update for today . The plants are 2.5 weeks old and its still early in may. A long veg period is awaiting my plants in a hot mediterranean climate.
This is my first grow. I want to see how far i can get.

My plan for the next month is to wait for the 3rd or 4th node and top all plants.i have to limit their vertical growth to avoid lousy neighbors.

Watering is every 3 days unless it rained. Feeding is every 15 days with a very small NPK dosage.

Total $: 20$ nutriment bottle (it has french written all over, i could only understand the dosage and i am using 1/4 of the recommended quantity)

Tonight i'm going to spray the whole area including pots with pesticides. I bought 2 different kinds because i read that mites can adapt to a certain chemical.

Total $ for pesticides: 15$ (including a 1L spray bottle)

Spraying my plants as precaution:


The pots are located on a roof between some broken windows and all sort of stuff that's why insects and bugs might be a problem although the place is clean.

I filled my 1L sprayer with tap water and a few drops of my locally made pesticide. I Sprayed the whole area very well while avoiding direct spray on the seedlings. I had barely used the quantity i prepared so i emptied the whole bottle all around on the area perimeter up to 20m (65 ft) away from the plants location.

Heading to the shower now and will be away from the planting site for 2 days for personal safety.

Extreme caution is recommended when using toxic chemicals.

24 hours laters i visited my grow site. I attached some pictures. I bit worried about the yellow edges on the leaves. I hope its just me being paranoid. Expecting rain tomorrow. I will water them if it didn't

Here i am again. No rain as forcasted. So last night i watered my plants with ph:7 mineral nestle water. I found it to be the richest in metals, magnesium and calcium. I also added half the recommended dosage of fertilizer.
Plants are healthy today.

I topped another plant tonight. I am confident about my first top.

Now im puzzled about 1 thing: last time i watered my plants was 2 days ago and now even the surface of the pot is still wet. Can u possibly know any way of making more drainage holes in the pot AFTER my plant has grown it for almost a month now? I'm worried that constant moisture on the surface will promote mold or root rot. i'm really confused

You can cut some drainage holes on the bottom of your pot , or increase the preexistant holes

They look good so far but in mediterrenean climat (I assume you are from the middle east region) it is very important to retain some moisture in the root system to keep the plants cool and they will get larger and be healthier too , I suggest you to mulch the top of you pots with straw , or , like I did, mulch with straw and rabbit manure for adding nitrogen ( you can use goat manure as well)

Lebanon enjoys the perfect climate for growing weed and is known for the red lebanese strain (ask snoop dog).
Cannabis grows outdoors with minimum effort and cost (100$ per 1000m2 or 10,000 sq ft).

I can't be luckier than that

Lebanon has good climate for growing weed as well as southern europe who enjoys wonderful weather (like me )
If you do it right you can grow some good shit ,and if I was you , I would give it a try with my advises , you cant make nothing wrong .

I am adding 1/4th nutrient dosage to the seedlings, adding the goat manure now might burn those little weeds.

In 2-3 weeks they should be fine to transplant , buy some good soil , mix it with some goat manure and wood ash but not too much then fill it in the holes .

This was actually my failed topping!! I just realized that the 2 plants i thought i topped only have wrinkling top leaves. Just the shape i had pinched the top growth.
Today i topped all plants again and I hope i don't mess it up again

They look really good ! , just do not overfertilize them I think I saw lil bit fertilizer burn on the 3rd pic . Peace out !

These are the tips on the leaves that i cut when they were tiny on the growth tip, it seems i missed the actual top when i was topping a few days back.
Im sure its not a burn: I used 1/4th dosage of fertilizer once since 2 weeks only and now the yellowing appeared so it doesn't make sense. Plus the yellowing location is exactly where i missed cutting the top.
Now that i am really sure about the topping, I will wait a few days and see how the new branches will come out.
I'll post some pictures tomorrow morning.
I will be scouting our lands for the best spot to be planted in soil.
