Did something really stupid, and don't know what to do next.

The guy drove into someone by his own admitance, possibly due to the fact that he was stoned, and then tries to blame the other guy, and then drives off without leaving any details. You are damned right i'm judging his level of responsibility.
>.> was he supposed to stick around with an increasingly belligerent dude in his face? So he's supposed to just calmly exchange information in that situation? just saying, I can see why he just left. xD But hey, thanks for not calling me a cunt. And also, we've all smoked and driven before. get real

you hit someones car and drove off lol.. after he confronted you also. because he drove a nice car and looked well off.. doesnt mean you can just fuck his shit up and drive away. if it was that nice of a car.. that bumper or side panel (whatever you hit) is probably worth more then your van. man up and fix it.. and if youre driving without a license, dont.. because shit like this can happen. good luck trying to get over on someone.. itll catch up to you

Litigate, litigate, litigate. Bog down a system with trifle and become penniless while others profit from your ordeal...*sounds about right
My two cents, you should have talked with the man and discussed a workable solution. You now have to deal with aspects beyond your control and carry a heavy conscious with a nice dose of paranoia. That talk doesn't seem so bad in retrospect and you can still ease the situation, get a hold of the man and admit fault. At least you can save face, you can always make more money.

*There is a woman in Canada who is now suing the families of the boys she ran over in her car {killing one of them}, claiming mental anguish do to the nightmares and anxiety she has from the accident... amongst other charges.
Reality, what a concept!!

Anyone with a valid drivers licence would know that you have 24 hours to report a fender bender providing no person suffered injury and you took down the details and other accessable pertainant data.
The problem is the other vehicle can get dinged again and you might be held liable.
I have let drunk drivers and many others without licence etc off the hook in the past. Sometimes it is better to tell the person of your situation. The other person may feel sorry for you.
That light fixture must've been extraordinarily tough to destroy the door on your vehicle:)

Fuck expensive cars, they are fucking useless overpriced crap anyways. Some rich dipshit kid parked his convertible Audi A4 in the middle of the fucking freeway, clipped with my piece of shit and left it useless on the side of the road. I didn't pay for shit, ain't my fault his tin cup can't take a hit. Just cause it's german and they ripped you off with the price, doesn't mean the car is actually worth it.
