Hey Craze, Chill Dude. I just got this note. Here's what I think, know, heard or read about.
Super Thrive, according to a Master Gardener that I listen to says that it is best used for plants in stress, for saving sick plants. And also, it is one of the best root simulators on the market (outside of the pot plant growing community).
Also, including myself, a major misconception to a vast number of people just starting to grow is that your needed supplies can only be found at 2 different places. #1.) Home Depot or Walley World. #2.) On-Line or Hydro-Shops. Take Notes People. All that you need for a very healthy, high yield natural organic grow in soil is found at your Local Nursery. NOT them idiots from Home Depot, etc! I'm talking only soil based growing, not that hydro stuff. These Urban wannabe Gardeners need as much help as we, the pot freaks need. The perfect potting soil, compost, nutes, everything is at your local Nursery. I like the Medina Hasta Gro, Plus. It's awesome. They have the needed greensand, fish emulsion, all kinds of shit that will give you a hard-on, for a decent price. Also, on the weekends, when your fucking off, listen to your local gardening program on the radio, AM. Problems with mold, they will tell you whole ground cornmeal will add nutes to your plant & kill mold & fungi. When adding molasses to organic nutes, the result doubles. Liquid seaweed keeps the spider mites away, pepper spray keeps other shit away. Blood meal is a wonderful nute also. Spend a dollar for some tomato plants, & buy what tomatoes need, because that is also what your plants need. "Rose Glo" turns out to be one of the best nutes on the market. Any product by "Lady Bug", "Dr. Gobbler", "Living Earth", Black Kow", Medina Hasta Gro is all wonderful products that you can trust with you Babies. Greensand is important, buy Epsom Salt, it adds minerals & trace elements that green sand does not, so use both. using non-sterilized manure is fine for cheap bag seeds, but don't trust it to high dollar seed plants. That's what Black Kow (cow manure) & Dr. Gobbler is for. For you worm growing people, don't use poultry manure with worms, the Nitrogen kills them. Go to "The Dirt Doctor.com" site for learning about how to turn your thumb green. All of this shit was learned by listening to a Master Gardener. I grow in & out, depending on the season. Not one time have I done a PH test, don't need to with organic shit.
Keep this thread going, we all need it. Dr. Von, good job. Whole ground corn meal does not mean enriched, bleached corn meal. Molasses does not mean maple or corn syrup.
