Ask me anything is a format used with great success on another forum I'm on.

We've got a lot of interesting, knowledgeable and lets be honest, batshit crazy members here. It could be fun to ask them anything!

So the rules are simple. Post a request for your favorite member and I'll see what we can set up.

453 grams is about a pound.. well just a touch less. Or is that a British pound? Because then it'd be about $1.69 USD.. Or for the sake of this forum is that a tube steak pound in which case about 12-14" would be close to a pound as long as it wasn't one of the skinnier ones....Depending on what you put it in, will determine on the yield...

What is the heavier tube steak material, beef or pork...from an equivalent cut from each animal?
And would you cook it like a meat loaf?

I'm going to have to go with beef due to the fact muscle is heavier than fat(pork) and I hate meatloaf so I wouldn't cook it, but I do like sushi though so I'd probably just eat it raw...If I was so inclined to eat the infamous tube steak.. trust me.. its no kobe beef(not massaged enough)...

Carpaccio.. Damn it, you asked me something I had to look up.... I wanna see the structure of the meat like sashimi, not suck down spicy hamburger.. Although I do like steak tartare with good wine. ...... ..chit now that I think about it.....tartare might cover up that nasty after taste of tube steak.. alright now that I've thought about it....tartare all the way....

Armchair, how do you like living on the east coast?
I like where I am...but I don't really get out much. Only really been a couple of places...one day I was in a big room with lots of other chairs like me, next thing I know I am pretty much alone in a dark room. Such is life as an armchair. Truth is, I'd love to get out more and experience more of this "east coast" you mentioned, but I am made of a fine material that really is only designed for indoor use.

Eh, good effort lads.

Save those questions for someone of note though.

I was thinking buck could do one on treadmill sales, maybe fin on one of many topics or we could harvest some knowledge from some people with a specialised grow.

What!!!?? You mean like, serious stuff?
Not necessarily.

Toke n talk has been quiet lately but something like this could be fun. I say a few AMAs with well known members who have areas of expertise. We are a grow site after all.

Here's a few examples....

Could do a few with some of the good growers that reside here aswell as a few joke ones to bring some of the shit talk and wise cracks back.
