what sort of problems do fem'ed seeds cause?Sure you can but why? And how will you be sure it didn't cause any problems before you get to f3+ I think it would be best to start with something your sure of.

An S1 is the easiest way to find bad recessive traits.Sure you can but why? And how will you be sure it didn't cause any problems before you get to f3+ I think it would be best to start with something your sure of.
I feel ya on the waiting, to quote Mr. Petty, "the waiting is the hardest part". Regular beans can be a pain, as someone with a "plant count" or space limitations it can work out fine. Seeing as I do perpetual, I always have known performers in my garden, so I can test new beans out in smaller pots and still not worry if I get some males. You guys are way better growers than me but I really hate doing regs..waiting to sex sucks!! As far as this thread..I just want to say I grew some frrebies from or santa marta and what lovely tasting smoke this is. Like pineapple hash in a really good way. Some of the citrus flavors I really am not fond of but this is really good
I started off growing femmed seeds and i am used to transplanting when I think it's time. With these damn regs I have to wait. Plus I have trouble filling my tent with the exact number of plants I want. Seems like growing regs takes just a bit more time and effort..which sometimes I have in abundance and sometimes not. Seems like if you don't grow both you are limiting yourself..er or I am limiting myself or somethingI feel ya on the waiting, to quote Mr. Petty, "the waiting is the hardest part". I feel ya on that, too, I have to completely disrupt my continual harvest setup for my new seeds, but I just wanted some new genetics, no risk, no reward. In the long run it's gonna slow down everything, but i'm not commercial, and there is zero possiblilty that i'll run out of herb, so i'm ok with the disruption. Not to mention i've only found one strain in the last four years that i deemed worthy to keep a mother from (a grapegod special pheno) and my answer to the tastiest is simply the Jack Herer, one of my all-time favorites. Great high, great taste, good cloner, no mold and pretty good yields as well.I feel ya on the waiting, to quote Mr. Petty, "the waiting is the hardest part". Breeding stock. IMO, it would be worth selfing to see what you get. If they're all similar, that's a potentially valuable plant for future breeding.I will. She is an easy plant compact with nice branching. Any idea why he did not sell this?
Could cause a lack of males possibly Hermie further down the line. Also it is an extreme form of bottlenecking just look at our pure bred dogs see just what bottlenecking does they all have genetic problems. That's why Chimera uses a few males from a line in his crosses so as to prevent genetic bottlenecking. Not to mention fem breeders are a joke a bunch of hacks who can't pick a male.
E="racerboy71, post: 10495684, member: 101541"]what sort of problems do fem'ed seeds cause?
