Smash capitalism.
Yeah bro...we'll just go to a resource based economy system because everyone would certainly play their part and contribute - oh and there will be so much incentive to better yourself and innovate new ideas...I can see it now

While at "work" where you go to earn money so that you can afford to pay for the car that you use to get there and the clothes you wear there and the house you are not in while you're there, ask yourself how your "work" makes the world a better place.

Because the ecology is more important than economy is WHY capitalism MUST end, I don't give a fuck about how or what replaces it.

I can't tell if you're serious or just playing devil's advocate...I am not a fan of capitalism either, at least in the form it's taken...at the root it is a good system (at the very least for progression), but of course there are all the negative things associated with it that can't be corrected / bypassed without fundamentally reforming it. Come up with something better and I'll sign up ;)

If it was not for the pseudoscience creating controversy over the findings of real science, people would be actively changing the system.

Lol zeitgeist...
Zeitgeist is the greatest piece of Science Fiction to come out in the last 30+ years.
For that, it should be commended. It certainly has inspired futuristic dreams in many where there were none before.
As a plan of action, though, it doesn't have much possibility.

How would they change the system, exactly? That part I never figured out...it's obvious things would be different, but to what extent?

In the last 30 years maybe...I think the Bible still trumps it in the category of top 10 science fiction pieces. Might as well get crazy in here since we already hit politics and economics...all that's left is religion! :D

The only reason that the system is intact is that it keeps people in competition. The ruling class fears solidarity among its subjects.
