actually, i believe it was the most socialist organization on planet earth, the US army, which invented and developed the internet.

and i'm pretty sure people have had plentiful food and comfortable lives before george washington blessed america with capitalism.

The question I have is, IF global warming IS real and IS going to be a problem, what is the upside to say it is not real? How does it benefit you as an individual to say it is not a problem and find studies that back up that position. How does that help your grandchildren?

At the very least you can say that pumping car exhaust and coal soot into the air is maybe not a great idea.

The Foundation, while of course respecting Professor Bengtsson’s decision, notes with deep concern the disgraceful intolerance within the climate science community which has prompted his resignation.

Professor Bengtsson’s letter of resignation from our Academic Advisory Council was sent to its chairman, Professor David Henderson. His letter and Professor Henderson’s response are attached below.

Fine, the story is true and there is a Swedish scientist who switched sides on the issue and became a skeptic. He refers to the rest (still vast overwhelming majority) of the scientists in his field as McCarthyite.

I am willing to observe his work despite that he has allowed himself to be ostracized. The disparaging is not really my concern. However, if his methods turn out to be faulty, then I would understand why the scientific community is not his peer group.
