My if I can do it Cree Grow Light most can do it (with a lot of help)

OK, thanks.

Is a CXA3070 5K still considered to be best for veg? I've been following the DIY threads as much as possible. I got the impression some folks think the 3K can be used for veg as well as flower?

This is my first baby that got a taste of this DIY job. She's been under for about a dozen days, and is enjoying the hell out of it. I figure about a week or less and she will be done, A few amber magnifiers:dunce: ( Thrichomes) and a lot of cloudy ones. Very frosty looking, I'm loving it too.DSC02916.JPG

My first full fledged CXA 3070 Z4 3000K grow is just 29 day's alongDSC02964.JPG and is doing good, trying to stay cool today as Temperatures are close to 100 degrees F. It is 98 in the shade by the wood pile. The air conditioner is working today to keep my plant's alive, Thank god for AC. There are two medical grade White Widows under them ( 4 CXA's ) , they will be done in 3-4 weeks. I like this WW it is already sticky, it fills along the branches nicely not super big but I could Veg it longer and get more. I got all I need , so all is good. These plant's were 11 and 12 inches when put in and now they are both at 20 inches. The one on the left is 3 day's younger than the right one. Temps were just under 80 when lights went out at 12:30 pm, they are slowly dropping to hopefully a cool nights sleep for them. Temps in the Evergreen State are to drop into the 80's after today, much better. What a wonderful hobby we have.

DSC02975.JPG The White Widows are loving it, they are at 37 and 40 days left to right. Another 12 days or so the first may be done. These lights really keep the nodes just right the way they fill in. Had some stretch at first but worked out good, I'm hoping that they keep filling out a little more which they have been doing. I have the air going out there now , keeping it just right (I hope). We are on a warm streak now, just hope the old craigslist AC keeps working, I have been using it for 3 summers now, so far so good. I tried a new one but it won't work on a timer, you have to manually start every time.

Well thank you very much SDS. I owe it to all of you LED Mastermind Guru's. The Cali Jacks I have under 2 z4's each are exploding.

I may end up doing that later if heat is an issue. I am retired and retarded Roofer( no offense to anyone ). I have lot's of time to f__k off, 3 months ago I wouldn't even thought of attempting this.

Hmmm , i retired from the bldg trades , if it's not too personal what company did you work for ? Over the years i got to know quite a few roofers , mostly operators & foreman were the one's i coordinated with , shit we might of worked on the same projects .

I won't say company name but it was the Portland OR. local union #49. worked for several contractors one I was there for 26 years.

If you were out of Portland there's no way we could of worked the same projects , i was going by your location in your profile & thinking you were out of local 149 . Im friends in real life with a foreman at a 149 company & know most the foremen from the large contractors in the state , ya kinda get to know the roofers foremen & iron workers foremen on the big jobs being those trades take up so much real estate on site .

Anyhow nice to see another union tradesman on here .

Where should I look for info regarding on starting my own sit? Would like to have what you've made or possibly double up. How much did this cost in the end?

On further thinking if you don't mind pming me the parts your using I would be greatful. I know the 3070s at 3k and artic fans but Don't know where I would find the rest

DSC02984.JPG Just showing the first full harvest ( medical WW ) from these CXA 3070's. there are two plant's from it, one was 3 day's ahead of other. Cut one down Friday morning and the other today. Was doing some camping this weekend and the first plant got almost but not quite to dry hanging while I was gone. Look's about like 4 oz. to me, I'm happy with it. More than I would have got with my pre LED light's.
