I received this test in an email, and thought I'd see what others thought about it.

A short time ago, Iran's Supreme Leader Grand Ayatollah Ali Khomeini urged the Muslim World to boycott anything and everything that originates with the Jewish people.

In response, Meyer M. Treinkman, a pharmacist, out of the kindness of his heart, offered to assist them in their boycott as follows:

"Any Muslim who has Syphilis must not be cured by Salvarsan discovered by a Jew, Dr. Ehrlich. He should not even try to find out whether he has Syphilis, because the Wasserman Test is the discovery of a Jew. If a Muslim suspects that he has Gonorrhea, he must not seek diagnosis,
Because he will be using the method of a Jew named Neissner.

"A Muslim who has heart disease must not use Digitalis, a discovery by a Jew, Ludwig Traube.

Should he suffer with a toothache, he must not use Novocaine, a discovery of the Jews, Widal and Weil.

If a Muslim has Diabetes, he must not use Insulin, the result of research by Minkowsky, a Jew. If one has a headache, he must shun Pyramidon and Antypyrin, due to the Jews, Spiro and Ellege.

Muslims with convulsions must put up with them because it was a Jew, Oscar Leibreich, who proposed the use of Chloral Hydrate.

Arabs must do likewise with their psychic ailments because Freud, father of psychoanalysis, was a Jew.

Should a Muslim child get Diphtheria, he must refrain from the “Schick" reaction which was invented by the Jew, Bella Schick.

"Muslims should be ready to die in great numbers and must not permit treatment of ear and brain damage, work of Jewish Nobel Prize winner, Robert Baram.

They should continue to die or remain crippled by Infantile Paralysis because the discoverer of the anti-polio vaccine is a Jew, Jonas Salk.

"Muslims must refuse to use Streptomycin and continue to die of Tuberculosis because a Jew, Zalman Waxman, invented the wonder drug against this killing disease.

Muslim doctors must discard all discoveries and improvements by dermatologist Judas Sehn Benedict, or the lung specialist, Frawnkel, and of many other world renowned Jewish scientists and medical experts.

"In short, good and loyal Muslims properly and fittingly should remain afflicted with Syphilis, Gonorrhea, Heart Disease, Headaches, Typhus, Diabetes, Mental Disorders, Polio Convulsions and Tuberculosis and be proud to obey the Islamic boycott."

Oh, and by the way, don't call for a doctor on your cell phone because the cell phone was invented in Israel by a Jewish engineer.

Meanwhile I ask, what medical contributions to the world have the Muslims made?

Barack Obama won a nobel peace prize and is the president of a country that has started most of the wars in the last century. It's possible some of the awards are not indicative of what they claim or portray. Obama is obviously not doing jack shit for world peace.

Seeing people in a collective view can also obliterate the individual qualities or shortcomings they might have. So I'd say congrats to the people that invented important medical cures, but that doesn't mean people that share the same religion as a Jewish scientist share in the accomplishment does it?

Wasn't Sammy Davis Junior jewish? What did he invent?

A Sudanese court has given a 27-year-old woman until Thursday to abandon her Christian faith or face a death sentence, judicial sources have said.

Mariam Yahya Ibrahim Ishag, who was born to a Muslim father, was charged with apostasy, as well as adultery, for marrying a Christian man, something prohibited for Muslim women to do and which makes the marriage void.

The human rights group, Amnesty International, said Ishag was raised as an Orthodox Christian, her mother's religion, because her Muslim father was absent.

Ibrahim's case was the first of its kind to be heard in Sudan, the Reuters news agency reported. A final ruling will be announced on Thursday.

Sudanese rights activists sharply condemned the accusations and called on the Sudanese government to respect freedom of faith.

"The details of this case expose the regime's blatant interference in the personal life of Sudanese citizens," Sudan Change Now Movement, a youth group, said in a statement.

Western embassies in Khartoum also expressed "deep concern" over the case.

"We call upon the government of Sudan to respect the right to freedom of religion, including one's right to change one's faith or beliefs," the embassies of the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands said in a joint statement.

The embassies urged Sudanese legal authorities "to approach Ms Mariam's case with justice and compassion that is in keeping with the values of the Sudanese people".

Speaking to the AFP news agency, Ahmed Bilal Osman, Sudan's Information minister, said: "It's not only Sudan. In Saudi Arabia, in all the Muslim countries, it is not allowed at all for a Muslim to change his religion."

President Omar al-Bashir's government is facing a huge economic and political challenge after the 2011 secession of South Sudan, which was Sudan's main source of oil.

A decision by Bashir last year to cut subsidies and impose austerity measures prompted violent protests in which dozens were killed and hundreds were injured.

Good one, Sky. This is not a religion. It is a pretend religion in the USA and in Europe for the time being, for the purpose of inner Jihad.

It is conquest and enslavement of breeding stock. Just ask them if they will allow other Religions,. (and if you have not, then STFU. I have)

An individual can say they are tolerant and follow a loving Allah and his Will on Earth (sel enacted fatalism) but they also say it is the Will of Allah that only Islam exists.

When the Sunni can they will, strong arm any govt into Sharia, They were able to threaten the richest man in the world to this. The Sultan of Brunei, recently reinstated Sharia for all. And this.... born a Muslim always a Muslim or die, is everywhere. We've had honor killing in the USA.

Sharia is arbitrary cruel and hideous mutilation, not Justice. And facts don't matter, no appeal is allowed.

It only takes 3 men or 4 women to have you beheaded. The eye-witness of a man is considered the view of Allah. Men are considered to be divinely Truthful before the Sharia Court.

It only works if cattle have more education than Women.

The oil supported Sunni are already at it here. We see hate speech and blasphemy laws proposed and passed and taken advantage of all over the world. And we see govts, appease this nightmare, like Saud has, and get stuck by Inner Jihad.

In Malaysia you are a Muslim from Birth, if "Malaysian tribe."

Then we have the most snotty of our own here on RIU that supports all this and defends it. But, Sharia frowns on marrying the Jewess. (woops)

And it doesn't matter what names come from the turd bowl at me about this. You can still pretend it can't happen here, as we see entire countries consumed by barbaric practices of Sharia in the 21st Century,

I see no evidence of islam taking non-islamic countries over. I don't, however, follow media that looks for any and all evidence of 'inner jihad'.
I do know that in france, for ex., muslims there are as irreligious as the culture in which they live.
Generally, I believe 'inner jihad' arguments distract from the real problems: education or lack thereof, growth of a strong middle-class, an irrational 'war on terror', etc
I would prefer a rational debate on this versus polemiscists like mark stern and his ilk spewing fear and paranoia.
Perhaps I'm a fool or an agent of inner jihad or a lefty or a subversive or a traitor to my european heritage.........

Only problem with the original post of this thread is that Khomeini never said anything about boycotting all things originating from the Jewish people. He suggested boycotting Israeli products and refusing to export to Israel.

He also said:
"no one has the right to lay a finger on the Jews in Iran, they are under the aegis of Islam and the Muslims; no one has the right to attack the Jews or the Christians who adhere to a religion revealed by one of God's prophets"
