In case anyone thinks that Khomeini didn't make a distinction between Zionism and Judaism, here is another quote directly from the man.

At one point in time Islam was civilization (not the only one but still). ^^^

Were it not for Islam's safeguarding of knowledge and contribution to it, after the collapse of Rome, along with the incredibly important translation work and contributions of many a sephardi jew, the West would never have had an Enlightenment or Industrial Revolution.

Doer in his insatiable urge to rant about "Inner Jihad" seems to have forgotten the fact Iran is almost entirely SHIA, not Sunni.

Shia are way way way way way way way more moderate than Sunnis, Persians are so more civilised and westernised than alot of Americans Iv met/seen on TV.

Mad-mood really gave Iran a bad name in America, maybe you shouldnt have done the whole coup thing and relations would be better?

I do know that in france, for ex., muslims there are as irreligious as the culture in which they live.

Iran is our friend against SUNNI Jihad. There is not SHIA Jihad at present, only Fatwah.
