Autoflower lighting?

The light cycle will be 18/6 you can buy bulbs from wallmart for about 2 dollars or so.

I use 4 30w cfls for it.

yep... some people have very good grows with CFL's.

I am currently using CFL's for my veg room/mothering room. I run those plugins like you have pictured above with splitters so I have 4 or so lights over each plant. I also have some hanging lower to hit the lower parts of the plant.

Being on a budget, don''t forget about smell removal. Even auto-flowers will make a smell. If your around the tent a lot, you may not notice the smell starting and increasing...but if in an apartment, your neighbors will. And if you vent the tent out doors without a filter, it could attract attention.

Supposedly Polar Express has very little odour

Because it's true, I've been growing and breeding for years and my garden never stinks (unless there is a problem) and I have never owned a carbon scrubber (no need)

most growers have no clue what happy plant is

Exactly, they only stink when something is wrong !!!!

I've read Hogbud's stuff and at first I thought he was crazy.....I thought I had happy stinking plants. Then after doing some nute-tweaks all-of-a-sudden my plants stopped smelling. I thought this was a fluke so I reverted back to the other nutrients and the smell came back.

It was like the smell was on a light-switch.

So I too am running up to 11 plants without a carbon filter and unless my plants are unhappy, I can't smell them....often I can stick my head into the flower room and STILL can't smell 'em.

His advice works!

I've never grown outdoors.....but I suspect that the ever-changing elements will make a plant unhappy.

Some basics,,,,,

they don't like the light too close (contrary to what you read in forums)
they prefer a mixed spectrum (blues & reds) HPS alone does not do this though some HPS bulbs have been made to include a bit of blue
they don't like to touch each other
they prefer a balanced nute regime
they don't like negative pressure (caused by sealed environments & fans pushing and pulling)

So its not available yet? Is there a charge for this book? Also I kinda like the smell of a pot plant lol. Fuck 40 years of growing unhappy plants, my bad!!!
