Shrooms not working

First time I had shrooms I had a solid 1/8 and felt like a strong Indica high but nothing like my friends where experiencing we had a ton of giggles but that's it. Is it me or what?
 
are you on any medication? Also how much food you ate, and how long ago you ate before the mushrooms makes a difference.

could also be shitty shrooms.... or a natural tolerance

Ya, you should generally eat shrooms on an empty stomach. Not saying you should be hungry when you eat them but don't eat for at least 2 hours before.
 
how old were the shrooms? my pops had a half oz go bad on him..ate some,tripped balls..ate some more 3 months later..nada!
also,eat them with something acidic..lemonade,grapefruit juice,coca cola...
 
Medications will make them not work properly,if at all(specifically SSRI antidepressants, though benzos or antipsychotics[?] probably interfere), fasting shouldn't make too much of a difference if a whole 1/8th was consumed. Unless of course they were just horrible mushrooms. I bought these mushrooms once that I know I'd have to eat a whole eighth to get even any fun threshold effects.

Old mushrooms.. Haha, reminds me a couple weeks ago a friend and I were doing a short hike on LSD. We were digging through my friends camping bag to find something, can't remember what. But there was a good 1/8 of mushrooms that we remembered we lost last summer and could never find. And there it was. I remember that hike. We were very.. Very melt-y. No wonder we never found em until 10 months later.
They worked wonders to say the least.
Seemed to overpower the acid that we were on but also combined like PB&J :)
 
i think my dads problem is they were stored in his desk drawer,where theres no air conditioning,and an open window shines light on it,making it in effect a bread warmer..lol..live and learn..
awesome mushie score!..i found over 400 hits of acid i had stashed when i moved years ago..not in one spot,mind you..50 here,20 there..lol..made moving alot of fun:-)
 
Well, if you guys grew them then I would recommend experimenting with different sub-strains and substrates. You might find a combo you like.
 
Some people gulp them down because they hate the taste so much. Not to get too graphic, but I've done that before and ended up passing partially digested material. Since then, I've made sure that I chew them up really good to make sure it is all absorbed.
 
didny grow them...
i mince my shrooms up into pea size bits and throw em back like a handful of pills and chase it with a drink..works fine,havent tasted em in ten years or so..
