Lovely sight. Do they look a bit droopy to you or is it me? Around the top and bud areas or maybe the angle? They do look very green and vibrant.

If I had to guess I'd say that the droopy, slightly curled downward leaves are showing a slight over watering issue.

We've just had a bunch of rain where the patch is located, the plants are in a plot thats about 1ft below the rest of the grade, that way come the dry season im hoping they will weather the drought,i cant get to them but once a month so daily or weekly watering is out.

Agreed, the patch is low & holds water for a bit after a hard rain which we've just had & its raining today,im counting on that working to my advantage in the months to come, they are so hard to get too because of mileage to the site so im hoping the overwatering (rain) issue will correct itself in later months.

Ok,this is gonna be a bit long winded so bear with me.

The strain is a heinz 57,i bought an ounce a few years ago that was some of the best weed ive ever tasted,it had a heavy gold tint to the overall look yet still green, the taste was kinda strange in that it reminded us (myself & wifey) of the commercial gold bud from the 1970's but its been so long since anybodies smoked that shit we couldnt put our fingers on the taste.

Anyways out of that bag i got one seed so i grew it out (fuk i hope its a female),the plant came up male so i ended up crossing it with a big bud female last winter using FDD's method of aplying pollen to select buds with a paint brush, worked a charm too(Thanks FDD,that guy is a wealth of info if you read between the lines of his posts).

I was hoping for budding to start early due to the high amount of shade in the area from the fence & woods, last seasons crop was lost from bud rott due to late flowering in full sun, causing harvest to be pushed back into late september which is fuked where im at,the humidity here in september is very high, with this crop i forced flower straight from clone indoors for 1 week then transplanted outdoors,im hoping for a harvest around the end of august.
