You will know if the leaves shrivel up and branches start dropping. Did you see roots when you dug it up? More questions from here, but the bottom line is, it is was it is right now. You might consider some root nutes to help out if you are going to grow it.

I just dug up the ground deep enough so that the roots were still in the dirt.. i did see one right but i made damn sure i didnt cut it or anything

LOL You're joking right? Your coming on this site trying to tell people something about weed? I have familly in northern Minnesota (doesn't get much more of a winter right?) and I saw plenty of ditchweed.. Ditchweed ends up bein nothing but males and seeds which drop to the ground to be covered by snow and grow again the following year.

hahaha I'm still laughing about this thread.. So whats the next plan Scarface? Throw them in your closet with some cfls and hope your parents don't smell? This shit takes time/money/planning.. You would have been better off leaving them there and checkin back up on em later.. But you didn't, and will probably never get a gram off them..

That leaf structure is not right for cannabis, yes it has five fingers but the uneven/long edges of the leaves are not characteristics of a cannabis plant.
That is some other sort of plant maybe "False Aralia".

Here's an example leaf to help show you.

See how the edges are even and the veins don't run through the middle of the serrated spur.
This is a cannabis leaf.
That other plant has a vein in the middle of the spur and very uneven.

From what i can see yea a cannabis plant,but my gran has a plant in her garden that's purple the leaves are the same has the cannabis plant
