this is bs and yeah your going to "alter" the taste with molasses because its a sugar it strips out the nutes.. and I know for a fact this guy is wrong because in the last 7-14 days you can use the snowstorm(even in the last 3 days you can see a visible difference and I know from much experience. you just want to cut out your N 1-3 weeks before crop. your plant will will focus on p and k during the final stage. look up home and garden shooting powder that you give in late flower one of the best things you can buy and look at the ingredients...

beautiful and normal I would just keep doing what you are doing just remember you are ultimately killing the plant in the end so if the fan leaves get a little discolored and raggety its ok because like I said they stop focusing on N to make leaves and start focusing on p and k. they look really nice imo

if you are going to use molasses at the end I would just go with clearex its cheap and I don't care what the other guy said ive grown some from the same strain that burned your throat like fuck because I nuted till the end and the other one I flushed was smokable almost right off the plant. but if you look at the ingredients of clearex its pretty much pure sugar

I got news for you, asshole, when I said that plants "practically stop taking in water and nutes", apparently you took the term to be literal and absolute.... Which is typical of most of the people in this forum who have the need to be "better than someone else" and feel they have to prove that they aren't the noobs they really are.
This does not mean that they STOP altogether. Otherwise there would be no sense in adding molasses like I told him. However, they DO dramatically slow down taking in nutes and water, towards the end of their lives.
Now, the claims that your weed burned your throat?? This is what happens when you're a noob, you probably harvested far to early and were smoking green shit, and/or, your curing process was borked.
Your claims of "one plant was harsh the other one you flushed was "almost" smokable right off the plant", is the evidence of your BULLSHIT! Yes, green buds right off the plant, will tend to be harsh and burn your throat. (He wants ME to be literal in my postings, but hey, it's perfectly OK for him not to be).... I guess I should have said that the plants "ALMOST stop taking in water and nutes"...... he might have understood then... right???
With near 25-30 years of experience here(which is longer than larrybobbkins has been alive), along side others who are on this site with their own decades and decades worth of experience, people like Uncle Ben, will tell you the same thing I am telling jwilt2008..
Flushing is unnecessary. PERIOD. Plants in the wild do not "get flushed". Plants grown in the ground by professional guerrilla farmers who then sell their crops, all over the United States, DO NOT FLUSH. The only people that I know that flush, are noobs that have bought into "organic" hype, and that's all that it is, HYPE. DO you think professional growers who have massive quantities of plants, flush???? LOL! Yes, let's go around to our 100 buckets of plants and run straight water through them for 3 weeks, this is so unrealistic it's not even funny.
Not even the fruits and veggies you eat that you buy at the store are "flushed"..
Now, larrybobbkins, you'll notice that I don't sit here and talk shit about other people, ever, I expect the same from others in regards to me, now, have a nice day imagining that you're somehow better than someone else, because you have a keyboard and an opposite opinion than someone else on a grow that most people in the world don't give a fuck about.

can you say butthurt lmao! perfect example of an old bastard who hasn't got with the times its ok you are old school but people have evolved from the dinosaurs. a "flush" doesn't take a week much less 3 lmao we run a 1/2gal to a gal per gal of soil through at the end and yes with a legit setup we flush our 12'by12' growroom every pot is connected and quite simple. and I was being literal I cure for about a month but you can throw a nug in a jar for about 3 days and it isn't too bad of smoke not the best but not bad cant say that for the one not flushed. if you ask me you are the judgmental one having something to prove and cant exept other growers methods. in fact you sound like a pansy shitweed grower who hasn't smoked their first bowl for the day. go smoke and change your tampon

What i have learned so far is that everyone has a different ways of doing something for one method there are 100s of different ways of doing it. I have been doing a lot of reading on this site for the last month and i appreciate all the help that i have gotten from everyone. Lets all just get a long!! lol

Which is exactly why you will never see me criticizing someone else's grow or opinions and is exactly the reason why I put people like larrybobbkins on ignore. There is absolutely no reason for anyone to be acting in such a manner towards another on this forum.
Flushing is a matter of opinion, some people will convince themselves that there is a different or better taste, most experienced growers that I know, including myself, do not flush....
Being that there is differences of opinion on this subject and MANY others, it in no way gives a person the excuse or justification to make claims that someone else does not know what they're talking about, or is a noob, or is inexperienced or whatever else, has been claimed that I've not bothered to read.

I totally agree with you! From all the growers i know personally none of them flush. I appreciate all advice and i take what anyone says in consideration. In the end i take what i think is the best advice for me. This site is awesome!!

im just an asshole. but usually a nice asshole. but if you look up snowstorm ultra testing(im going to try an find an paste it) there is a debate about whether it adds an extra carcinogen to the smoke. so to be on the safe side I flush as much of it out as I can out so im not harming myself if for some reason it does. and it is just scientifical fact that plant may slow down on nitrogen but all in all its not slowing down the plant will start sucking up phosphorus and potassium like crazy trying to make a resin "coat of armor" so to speak
