are they still without any pistols, what i mean in veg mode, are you giveing them any nutes i would reco nutes if ya wanting a good yeild. You want the watering to be so the medium is wet but not like sludge, then allow to get dry don't water every day just when they dry if it aint dry don't apply.
That is why i would all ways start of in small pots then re pot once root bound into there final pot but let them get to a decent size before re- potting
Just wet the plants through and allow to dry and they will be fine but you must let them dry out its key to getting good root structure
He hasn't said anything about what medium he is growing in, so adding nutes might not be the right answer!
If it's a coco / hydro setup then nutes are required, but dependent on the type of soil (if it is soil) then nutes at this very early stage could be a disastrous over-fert.
To the OP:
-Tyke is right on one thing, repot them in smaller pots and pot-up when they become root bound. I made the mistake of going straight into big pots. Result? Slow growth and I've used more than double the nutes I could have gotten away with in smaller pots.
-Water until you get a bit of run off - this means the water / feed has moved all the way through the medium so you know all the root mass has received some feed. It also means it pushes old nutes and salts through the medium, flushing out of the bottom. This way you know you have used the right amount - how much liquid this is will depend on how big the pots are, how dry the medium etc.
-Careful not to splash your leaves - give em a gentle shake dry if you splash them, or the lights can use the water droplets as magnifying glasses to burn your babies.
