Absolutely Paul N chuck!, I do understand the concept that less day lite triggers the plants responseto make seeds,to save herself( her lineage),One thing i was un aware of is that if seeds are not present, she focuses all that energy to the foe seed pods to finish off resin??.,Now when you say finish off,are you reffering to the plant making more resin or just maturing the resin it has already? Fyi I did switch to 14/10 three nights ago and boy O boy, I dunno if my micro. Is playing tricks on my eyes but damn if I didnt see twice as many amber/reddish trichs this morning under my scope! already! thanks for the 2 cents guys, worth asking any question in this forum, and not to feel like a dumbass doing so! FRIZ OUT!PEACEThats not exactly inaccurate.. You'll get the most flavor and potency with ripe and completely developed resins. Terpenes affect the smell and taste, some buzz. And the the trichs are the stuff we're trying to smoke for the "high". Less developed resins end up in shitty weed and less potent medicine. So yes, you want those trichs to change and mature. But by cutting the day light they receive, they produce less pot. If they think they are dying sooner they will focus and finishing seed production. If seeds arent present the seed pods finish off the resins. Do you follow? Do you know why the plant actually produces these flowers? Because she thinks shes dying at the end of fall/winter.
Grandmah, between chop&dry do the trichomes and resin keep degrading? (Turning Amber)It's absolutely fine to chop now. You still have to wait for drying time and some curing.

Amber trichomes represent a lost in thc for peak potency you wanna have as much cloudy as possible as it's when the thc is most potent. Also my querkles started budding 10 days after flip just add1-2 weeks onto breeder timesReally!!??
