12 ounces off a 300w? Hmmmm... I stopped 18/6 Veg at 31 days on my plant.. its been on 12/12 for about another 31 days.. im guessing another month and ill have about 2-3 oz. Cheers bro
Hopefully you pull 2-3 ozs. I was able to pull 3 ozs off my very first grow with a 135W LED and some CFLs. Good luck grower. Its not impossible but very few people are going to pull 12 ozs off a 300W LED (1 gm/watt isn't unheard of with LEDs, though not the norm). I'd say your growing conditions and strain are going to play more of a factor than simply what type of LED one was using to achieve numbers like that.

You really need to stop showing and speaking directly from your ass!

If you have a 09 BMW, like my X3 (or any 3 or 5 series) it has an N20... can be dual turbocharged and all aluminum.

Nissan Engines - The QR family of straight-4piston engines by Nissan were introduced in 2000 and range from 2.0 L to 2.5 L in displacement. These motors are aluminum, dual overhead camshaft (DOHC), four-valve designs with variable valve timing and optional direct injection.

Just admit you have no idea what you're talking about and let the big boys discuss things.
well my engine is a magnesium block with cast iron piston liners. My x's altuma is a cast iron block. She does have a remanufactured engine. Which comes from Japan out of a Nissan blue bird. Her timing chain broke and it was cheaper to replace the engine.. My old nissan 240 had a kad24e cast iron engine and swapped a sr20det engine into it..A titanium , or carbon fiber or an aluminum cam shaft does mean the block is the same. Subarus and porsches with turbos has blocks that are mixed aluminum and magnesium with cast iron piston liners. I think I know what my car is made of. I do all the work myself. I get the parts whole sale from my buddy who works for partstrain..

Please for the love of God stop... It takes less than 30 seconds and google to prove you wrong.
The Nissan SR engine is a 1.6 L, 1.8 L, or 2.0 L straight-44-stroke internal combustion gasoline engine manufactured by Nissan Motors. It features an aluminum head and aluminum block with steel sleeves in selected models and features a DOHC 4-valve design, with variable valve timing on select models.

This was also used in the Bluebird you mentioned for the Altima:
Bluebird1989, 1991–1993, 1995–1998
It is possible that you had a car made in the 90's that had a steel case (your 240 that they stopped making in '98 )... not in this millenia sir. And sure as shit not a '09 BMW or a Nissan Altima newer than 2001.

Edit: I forgot to give you the link to Porsche and Subaru that both use only aluminum blocks (with the exception of the Porsche turbo diesel that has the piston liners) since the 90's.

You must walk to work a lot huh?

How did we go from noobs stop buying China junk to cars? I thought if you bought an led from china you can't grow good MMJ. I'm confused I was hoping the thread would be about how China leds suck and I have not seen any proof.
Sadly, yes, there are a few egos lashing out

The point was not will/can china panels grow, but for how long. Many die within 3 months, many more lose much of their intensity within 2 grows (but the grower will not see this).

Warrantee is hard to cash in
. Shipping from US costs more than most lights

Also most noobs do not understand the BS adv hype and buy wattage.

The so-called full spectrum lights are nothing more than a bunch of small amounts of light bands mixed together that fail to meet what MJ needs.

Their latest BS is adding IR. Well, quality IR is very expensive, so anticipate it doing nothing, or failing quickly

Those pinkish-purple lights may look cool, initially, but a predominantly white light (either NW or WW) mixed with a few Royal Blue + 630-650 will grow most strains of mj

China is not making them, and even if/when they do, you still have the same QC and trust issues

Just adding some thoughts to your comments below, no bashing or pissing contest, but to me, the case has not been made for spending so much more for an Area-51 or other high end LED lights.

Has the longevity of high end lights been tested? All LEDs claim a lifespan of +/-50K hours. Im into my 3rd grow with my little 135W and it does not seem to be slowing down. I am going to buy a light meter just to test this very thing as you have sparked my interest into just exactly what the light is doing. Granted, the proof is always in the grow and I dont see any issues there.

Warrantee is hard to cash in
. Shipping from US costs more than most lights Agreed here, China is very far away but it seems now that most Chinese LEDs sold in the US are backed by warranties of US retailers, which from what Ive read usually results in replacement of the unit with turn-around times seemingly within a week.

Also most noobs do not understand the BS adv hype and buy wattage.
But some do, and expect that lights operate at around 50% of the panels stated watts. Even high end lights operate at about 70% of their stated wattage.

The so-called full spectrum lights are nothing more than a bunch of small amounts of light bands mixed together that fail to meet what MJ needs.
Those full spectrum lights are usually in the red and blue spectrum which does meet what MJ needs. Tons of LED grows around here proving that fact.

Their latest BS is adding IR. Well, quality IR is very expensive, so anticipate it doing nothing, or failing quickly

Again, there are tons of pink-purple LEDs growing good weed

Again, not bashing you or trying to piss in your cheerios here, but the case just has not been made. I mean seriously I spent $140 for a VIPAR 400W (200W draw) that will last me at least a year, most likely two. An XGS-190 is $525 (almost 4 times as much as the VIPAR). I find it hard to believe that XGS will last 4 to 8 years.

Just my .02. Im a noob, what do I know....:joint:

Yes per plant, are you also mud1m? :bigjoint:
I'm in Coco.
I had a Vipar A300, early model, black casing.
It did a fairly good job but kicked out loads of heat and was noisy so i sold it to a friend.
It lasted about 4 grows with him and then drivers blew, not great but he got his monies worth.
I've had some of my Plant Photonic panels for 4 years now. Never had a problem :)
Happy days

After looking for 10 or 15 mins, I couldn't find the one I was referring to (that forum does tend to delete threads with links to non sponsors) but I did find THIS ONE. The OP had TopLED make one of their Mars panels match the spectra of A51 for 1/3rd the price.

As for them claiming Cree chips and not using Cree chips... I recall a few years ago Cree sueing 3 or 4 panel makers for claiming their use and not actually having Cree diodes. I also remember NASA making a few remove or modify the wording of the way they used their names as well.

Edit: I was looking for Area51 comparisons here and on other sites, it seems that all of them started on this site are closed and the company states on their site they don't do comp grows.
"Q: Can you give me a free light to do a side by side or test grow with?
A: No. There is nothing that anyone can prove that's not been proven already."

That seems odd for a company that gets so much hype on this site and has a new model at least once a year.
Yeah I remember those "companies" claiming cree in their lights, I had to personally deal with one of the asses to get my $$$ back. Guess who brought out the false claims on this public forum?? it was EH & Spuzzum who verified the lies from these vendors who are all still in business BTW(just removed the cree logos on their sites). This is why I believe that A51 IS using quality cree chips, now verifying the claimed bin#s is not possible obviously.

Lush led needs to watch out, because their day is coming soon too...........

Cree chips aren't magic, you put 150w of cree against 500w of cheap chinese encapsulated leds with the same spectra, cree will get "rocked":P

As for A51 grows being closed/ no more discounted "test" panels on their site? well it's possible RIU is getting tired of the FREE advertising by now. IDK

Not to bust your bubble but US made led lights fail as well. I have a buddy who's been using lush lighting leds and I was about to get one through him because he can get them for half price $650 instead of $1399 so I gave him $650 to get me one. After 2 weeks he gave me my money back and said the lights he bought one of them failed and he had to wait 2 weeks for the replacement. The only reason he got the leds half price is because he is friends with the owner of DNA

What's with the attitude? I was just going by what my buddy said and I was gonna buy a lush led and I'm glad I didn't. I grow MJ as a job I get paid for. I've been growing for a dispensary for a good while that's why you have seen any new threads by me. I'm not here to get into a pissing contest. I here to prove a point. I own Mars II leds and will prove that not all Chinese made led sucks.

I never had an sr engine (Sentra) I had an sr20det(Silvia s15) 2002 in a 98 240sx...
One last time cause my epeen needs another 2". The SR Engine Family includes SR18D,iSR18DE,SR20D,iSR20DE, and SR20DET. Impreza/WRX EJ20's are all aluminum alloy blocks.

Psuagro, I did see that Lush removed the Cree claim from most of their site... maybe those places left are just errors! The grows with A51 are everywhere here... but there isn't a single comparison grow to be found. While there are multiple comparison grows between every other company, not one with Area 51. If they are changing their ratios and panels/ adding new products, why would they not want comps done. If you can't find a single grow comp with their product on the one site that advocates for their product, how is "There is nothing that anyone can prove that's not been proven already." a valid statement. It gives the appearance of avoidance or hiding the results (only closed/unfinished comp grows on this site perpetuates that). Feel free to step in and prove me wrong EH.

I believe Lush Lighting are Eshine rebrands as well but I have no proof to that.

Any company that claims all Bridgelux and Cree diodes and list a 660nm wavelength are straight up liers. Neither company makes a deep red or near IR (730nm).

Pet, those reasons are why I mentioned TopLED/LG, they are stocking in warehouses in the US, UK and Australia. I have only heard of 2 failures a fan and a 100% new COB test panel and both where replaced in less than a week. Yes, with most albida or direct Chinese companies shipping and repair/replacement times/cost are extremely high. I have always made my own panels until a few weeks ago when I had them customize one for me. There are literally hundreds of grows with them on the 420 site so I got one of their standard spectrums as well to test against. I killed my clones in transplant so I haven't tested it yet, but I will be soon.
