You are right alcohol is a different beast. You actually don't pull as much wax I think. Plus with ISO you do it quick hence qwiso. Have ever tried ethanol instead I know it's way softer but might just be different for like rso or something. I would still invest in an oven if you can no matter how much the dehumidifier runs a vac will clean it that last little bit. But just to clear when you add heat to remove a solvent like 90 degrees is heat what you are doing, ISO alcohol boils at 176. Butane boils at 35 or something it takes that temp to remove the solvent. you remove more butane with your setup then you do alcohol.

It does not take 176 degrees to evap alcohol man. It will evap at room temp, and if you add moving air to the equation it evaps even faster, a key factor here is evaping in a thin layer. I've tried using everclear and it worked great, but it didn't produce a noticablely different concentrate so I went back to the cheap stuff. Your correct that alcohol won't pull waxes like the butane. If you do a quick wash it doesn't pull out the chlorophyl either which is why proper qwiso is golden or amber, and pourly made iso oil is dark green or black. I would love to get a vac to play with and see what kind of results I get, but once my stuff is done its typically a dry powder or crystal.

I didn't say it takes 176 to evap alcohol but when you just evap it, you locked in high ppms of the ISO. Once it's dry and hard as a rock there is nothing you can do to purge it more. Evaporation gets you half way there then the oven will bring you the rest of the way. That is why testing is critical so you know when You do it like this it comes out like that and so forth

I suppose we'll have to agree to dis agree until I can some day get the testing done to prove mines clean, and that you don't need to heat or vac qwiso as long as its in a nice thin layer when evap'd. In the mean time I'll just have to take the compliments I get and call it a day.

I have been getting lifted on this stuff. I mix one ounce bho decarboxylated, with 14 ounces of coconut oil or a standard jar. 5 ml doses at 200 mg a dose. I put some all over my steak last night and slept like a baby

No words can describe how unbelievably awesome this stick is.
My plan is to source out high end wraps ranging from Maduros, to shade grown and everything in between. Coffee infused tabak shade grown leaf is the best I have tried. Dressed in handmade boxes based on flavors and colors with the cleanest art work crafted for the Boss in everyone. Blends and styles are personal to me as are my plants.
I am also working on preserving and using actual cannabis leaves as a wrapper but that gets more complicated. My main focus is taste and nothing will compromise that.

I grew up on blunts cracking phillies before there was blunt wraps..but all that changed.i don't like anything blended or tainting the buds.whats the point in growing the finest buds just to mask it in a tobacco leaf? I'll puff a fine cigar on occasion but no more blunts for me.
Fan leaves have been used for years only problem is the taste although there are people that have it down to a science.....image.jpg

I love a good blunt still even after all these years. Most of the stains I run you can taste right through the whole blunt. I've never tried rolling one with fan leaves. I think to do it right you would need to process the leaves like tobacco so they are pliable but still dry enough to burn.

Low end processed tobacco used in flavored blunt wraps, dutches, phillies ect.. Definitely ruin the experience and flavor of your herb. I am talking about the best wraps in the industry ever deleafed an avion?

Never used Deleafed a Avion but have used a a high end Gurkha before.its cool and all its just my personal preference not to mix tobacco anything with herb.to each there own.
