noob needs help

Hey, Im growing for a relative who has cancer and im going to try and make oil for her, This is my first grow and my first ever encounter with growing ANY plant!! I live in a country where Medical marijuana is not permitted and serious jailtime for growing it is normal,

I've got three plants, all clones. I started them in jiffys then transplanted to organic soil (bad choice) then transfered them to coco. They are looking healthy and two are growing well despite me not giving them the best start in life (overwatering, too hot, too cold, nute burn) they are now in a grow tent. Temp is good, led is good, Rh is a little low (dry) filter is good, i am handwatering with Bio-Green Grow 1 nutes at 1/2 strength.

I have these little fungi type things growing in the medium?? No gnats or spotting on the leaves. Any ideas where,what or how I've caused it and how do I deal with it??? All help will be greatly received.

Shouldn't be an issue just blow a fan in there and have a good exhaust to get rid of stale air. Make sure you use hydro nutes every watering in coco.

Thanks for your reply,

I think the soil may be retaining too much moisture but the roots are into the coco now so is it wise to leave them in there or try and re-pot them ?

No you only re pot plants that are healthy and root bound. Stop watering until the pot drys more. Scoop the fungus out of the soil.

Ok I'll remove the soil. That's a great idea. Thanks. Also heard bicarbonate soda in a spray will kill it. Thanks again

a good way to stop fungi or mould spores from settling is to keep a fan on them. The mold wont be able to land while being blown around you tent and will die.... KEEP A GOOD AIR CIRCULATION. Need any more easy to understand tips... Reply me.. Askapros here to help

Need to keep one thing in mind . For your relative ..... if they have blood work done and they test positive for marijuana , their insurance company can cut them off of their benefits. This happened to my mother-in-law before she did finally die of breast cancer. My medicine did help her but the insurance company didn't like it.

Thanks buddy,

I did have a fan in there but forgot to put it back in when I swapped out my sodium for LED (couldn't keep temp down, it's hot here!!) I'll reinstall today. Rookie mistake ;)

Oh! I never thought about that :/ honestly I don't know how long she has left, this is kinda last resort, have to see what she wants to do but can't stop the grow now. Better to have it and not want it than need it and can't get it.

i could do with some advice on led lights , which ones to use, what colours to use etc, do u need a white led to go with the red and blue ones or can u use them on there own

I got a budmaster II shipped over by a buddy of mine in the UK. It's the 675 series. It's a complete unit so no need for any other lights. It has reds and blues but no whites as far as I can see. The results so far are great but as I dont have much experience my opinion is limited. Same buddy saw my pics of the plants and he said they looked Really healthy. He uses the same model. I'll try and post a link to their page. We have some good U.S companies though and their lights are worth looking at.

do co2 tablets for aquatic plants produce co2 gas when put in a glass of water (not to be used for watering) just in my grow space
