Alternate nodes, then back to symmetrical

This problem happened to me the last time I grew and wanted to know what causes it so it doesn't happen on my current grow.
But anyways the girl in my profile pic was a month old and started alternating her nodes for maybe 2 or 3 nodes then for some reason she went back to the symmetrical nodes. What causes this? Did she go from being mature back to vegging?2012-04-14 21.28.43.jpg

i've never heard of, nor seen, such a thing, sorry, but that's all i got..
but i wouldn't say a plant went from mature to immature because she stopped alternating nodes.. it's like a girl, once she starts to ovulate, she's always going to be mature, whether her boobs get smaller or not imo, lol.. sorry best ex. i could think of.

Yeah Cannabis starts off with an opposite leaf arrangement if grown from seed then changes to an alternate arrangement. It doesn't change back although it can appear almost subalternate. Since you haven't included a pic my guess is the plant is still young and after the arrangement changed it put out a few opposite looking nodes. I can guarantee it will not revert to opposite. But there again may be a few nodes that appear close to being opposite making you think it has reverted.

Your good, and the plant is happy. My current girl from seed stacked her nodes tightly, symmetrical and then alternating. The plant does what the plant wants to do.

Yeah kind of...it's all genetic coding...so the plant does what it's supposed to do.

I had a girl I started from seed popped 3 nodes after her first set of true leaves and never reverted back, didn't get a chance to flower her but I like to think she was gonna be some thin special
